Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut who has proved her caliber with her performance in several movies recently delved into the hosting business with the digital reality show, Lock Upp by Ekta Kapoor.
Kangana has been receiving rave reviews for her avatar as the host of the show. In a recent interview with ANI the actress shared that Ekta was keen on seeing her real side and therefore took her on board as host for ‘Lock Upp: Badass Jail Atyaachaari Khel.’
She said, “Ekta said you play a lot of strong women on screen but you know how strong you are and how strong your personality is. I want to use that instead of giving you a character for you to project and conceal yourself beneath. I want to see you as a person.”
Talking about Lock Upp successfully garnering 15 M views within 48 hours of its release. Kangana shared, “I am overwhelmed with the response the show has received. It’s a different show with a unique concept and I am very glad to see the viewers are pouring in all the love.”
The show recently witnessed the entry of Bigg Boss 15 fame Karan Kundrra as the jailor of the Lock Upp.
