Kanchi- The Proposal OS_by Miya

After a really long time I am writing…
Hope you didn`t forget me 😉
It`s been along time so i am not sure if i can reach your expectations but still hope you will enjoy:)

Imagine the same plot as it is now in the serial with a 2 year leap.

Kabir wanted to propose saanchi for a long time, but now is the perfect day. Saanchi just finished her internship last week and both are real good friends.
He stood by her side when there dr malhotra was sent to jail. Although she hated him for not believing her first, she later came to know that kabir always supported her, without her knowledge. Veer and Saanchi could never have the same relation as before and the decided to stay as good friends. Saanchi didn`t consider kabir or veer as her lovers anymore, but they were inseperable friends together with pragya and isha.

But kabir and saanchi had many cute romantic moments, which both didn`t want to realize. But after thinking a lot kabir was sure that he can`t live without saanchi and decided to propose once again. Whether it`s a positive response or not he wants to get a clear answer for a last time. He just can`t live without her….
so he asked saanchi for a last dinner together before she moves somewhere else to work.
Ans soon the big day was there.

He arranged a dinner on the hills with a lot of greenery and flowers. As it was night the full moon was visible and he also arranged for loudspeakers.

And then he drove to saanchis home and picked her up. He was mesmerized when she came down the stairs. She had a dark blue saree and she looked very gorgeous.
In the car:
Saanchi: So this will be our last dinner together for the next few months….?
Kabir thinks: Hopefully not…
Kabir: Ha,… probably….
……..Will you miss me?

Saanchi: YES! Wht kind of question is that kabir?
Kabir went silent

When they arrived they walked a bit and after dinner he took his guitar and sang for her: Enna sona…
Saanchi was smiling at him. and partly sang with him. She really enjoyed this but was also sad as she knew this would be the last time she can meet him like this…
Just today her mother told her that the have some good proposals from good families which could be finalised in the coming months.

While saanchi was lost in her thoughts and in his song kabir stood up and took her and started to dance with her on a song.
They were real close, so that both of them could feel their warm breaths.

That is when he slowly whispered into her ears bowing his head down:

There’s all the light in the world, and there’s the sparkle in your eyes.
There’s all the happiness in the world, and there’s the smile that spread across your lips.
There’s all the words in the world, and there’s nothing that I could say.

I like it when you look at me with dreamy eyes,
because nothing compares to it.
Not the stars and the moon,
not the rains and the rainbows,
not the mighty mountains and the oceans,
not the flowers and the butterflies,
not the cold mountain breeze,
not even the radiant smile of a child.

You are the only thing I ever really wanted.
And that’s the sin that can’t be forgiven
that I hadn’t done what was necessary.
It feels like insanity, because there’s no sense to it,
nothing but pain and wasted pain…

Truth be told I’ll always want you.
Until every sun goes dark in every sky,
until I am nothing more than long forgotten cosmic dust,
I will want you.
And even then in all of nothingness,
will linger the longing.

I am going to say this only once,
I love you,
In this lifetime, the last and the next
within the confines of insanity, maybe.

I don’t know why
maybe because you are the reason
I wake up every morning
to realize the dream
I had the previous night.

If there is anything that I would like to say,
is Will you marry me.

Saanchi was about to say something : But Kab….
Kabir :
Shhh! I don’t want you to say anything
There is only so much happiness or grief my heart can contain
If its a yes, hold me like you mean it
If its a no, stay as we are now
You can walk away at sunrise
I can live with a “maybe” rather than a “no”
Hope is a good thing
You are the only one I have.

Saanchi pulled herself back as they were almost hugging and looked into kabirs eyes with her teary eyes.

She looked at him for some time with many thoughts bombarding her head but she was still touched by his proposal and then she just cried and hugged him saying: Why ?
She started slightly beating him on his chest saying: Why are you making my life so complicated? First time you told me you love me, i thought i love veer and then when I thought you were on Dr.malhotras side , I started hating you. and then after realizing what you have done for me, i thought i had lost the love of my life by rejecting him the first time… you are too good for me.. You gave me a second chance that I don`t deserve.
Then she cried and hugged him:
But still….. Yes …. Yes i want to marry you!
They were hugging and then looked into each other`s eyes after long time.
Soon there was a big marriage held and both lived happily ever after.
