Kamya Panjabi is a very popular name in the television industry. She has been a part of many popular shows like Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, where she was seen as Preeto Kaur Singh. She was very well loved and appreciated for her role in the show. Now the actress is all set to return to work after a long break of 10 months. As per the news, the actress will be seen in a mature family drama, Sanjog. The story will explore a complex relationship between two mothers – Gauri and Amrita and their daughters. Kamya will play Gauri in the daily soap.
Kamya has however not commented on the news till now but a source close to the makers of the show has told BT,“Kamya’s character will be shown to be materialistic. Gauri is fiercely independent, and ambitious and takes care of her family in her own unique way.”
The actress, who was busy shooting for the daily soap, Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, for five years, made the most of her 10-month break by spending some quality time with her husband, Shalabh Dang, who is based out of Delhi.
