Kamya Panjabi talks about the reason behind shows wrapping up quickly; says, “Shows should be given time to connect with viewers”

Kamya Panjabi who is all set to play a cameo in the TV show Raazz Mahal is super excited to essay a strong and different character from what she has played on the small screen so far.

Ideally, Kamya prefers taking up full-fledged characters. The actress talked about it in an interview and shared, “The reason I prefer doing full-fledged roles is that when I am given a character, I focus on every aspect of the role. I work hard on the dialect, body language, and the way I want to portray that character. When I put in so much effort, I want my character to run longer and connect with people. But this time, I found the role interesting, which is why I agreed to do a cameo.”

Kamya, who has acted in shows like Shakti, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, and Do Dil Ek Jaan also talked about TV shows winding up in no time. She said, “Earlier, the shows used to run longer because the makers were patient and were willing to wait for the show to pick up. Even now there are a few shows that have been running for a long, but yes, there are more shows that end quickly. A show needs at least 2-3 months for the storyline to connect with the audience. So, the makers need to be patient.”
