Kamalanayani – an Untold Character of the Great Epic. (Episode 2)

Now, You must have got Kamalanayani’s atma-dharshan from my former article. Today let us travel towards the motive of her avatar.

After being named by Mata Gayatri devi. Kamalanayani was blessed by Devi Adishakti, Tridev and Mata Bhumidevi. Now she asked them about the first command to complete.

Tridev ordered her to destroy (Mahadev’s form) the asura and restore peace (Brahmadev’s form) and happiness (Narayan’s form) in the universe. They also permitted her to destroy anything that comes in her way and prevents the peace of the Universe. Upon knowing about the creation of the new shakti, the asura got frightened. He started to do many things that could save him. But nothing worked out. Kamalanayani, was moving towards the asura’s loka with great anger riding on Veera. She had no other thoughts other than destroying the asura. She destroyed his army in a minute and then his kingdom, his palace one after the other.

The asura then found that her speed is from the Cheetah and tried to distract him by throwing meat all around, thinking that it he was a normal meat-eating animal. But Veera was a part of Kamalanayani’s Kundalini shakti. So Veera was not distracted at all. The asura then started using his maya and created illusion-dummies of himself all around Kamalanayani to confuse her. She then used her tapo-shakti (Tridev’s Tapo-shakti – as he could not escape from Tridev’s Tapo-shakti alone) to find the original asura.

She used her powers to vanish all the dummy asuras and started to approach the orginal asura. He used various weapons against her. She simply turned them all into ashes. Finally the asura was left with no weapon. He then begged her to leave him and he has changed his mind and will strive towards the welfare of the universe.

Kamalanayani questioned him about the repayment for all he has done till this minute. The asura had no answer. Then she concluded that you Samhaar (slaughter) will only restore peace and joy in the universe. And it was a command by the Tridev. So it has to happen for sure.
She then sat on Veera and used her 3 major Weapons – Trishula, Chakra and Brahmastra on the Asura at the same time. The asura was finally slaughtered. She then felt happy that she completed the order of Tridev. The happiness and peace was fully restored all over the universe.

She then did not know what to do next. So she returned to her birth place – Tapovan. Devi Adishakti, Tridev and Bhumidevi were there. She was blessed by them and thanked them for creating her and believing that she could do such a task, which she feels proud of. But she also said that her janma-lakshya (Birth reason) is over. So its time for her to re-unite with Devi AdiShakti. But Devi Adi-shakti said that her birth motive was not only to destroy the asura which might be her role of representing, Lord Shiva – the destroyer. But she has to represent the remaining two of the Tridev. Because Kamalanayani is a common daughter of Tridev. And she also added that Mata Bhumidevi is also a mother for her as she has also done tapasya and got a boon that she wants Kamalanayani as her daughter. So Bhumidevi will also get her as her daughter in a birth in future.

But having 3 Pithashrees, Kamalanayani was not sure where to reside. So Devi Adishakti asked her to stay in each father’s house for a time period of 1 day according to the calender of Devas (1 Deva day = 1 Earthly year).

So She first went to Kailash first and Mata Parvati accepted her as the 5th child and 2nd daughter after Lord Ganesha, Lord Kartikeya, Devi Ashoka Sundari, Lord Iyyapa. (Even though Lord Iyyapa was born from Lord Shiva & Lord Narayan’s Mohini avatar. He was also a son for Mata Parvati). She was happily residing in Kailash and found her interest in Nrithya (Bharathanatya) and Bhasma (Cremation ash – Favorite of Lord Shiva). She learnt it from Mata Parvati on each day she resided in Kailash.

On the next Deva day, she went to Vaikuntha – Residence of Lord Narayan. Mata Mahalakshmi accepted her as her daughter also. She also found her interest in Lotus flowers and peacock feathers.

On the third Deva day, she went to Brahmaloka – Residence of Lord Brahmadev. Mata Saraswati accepted her as her daughter also. There she found herself curious about learning the vedas and various sanskrit mantras.

On the fourth deva day she again went to Kailash. Thus this was continuing as a cycle.

She became good in Bharathanatya and her performance also pleased Lord Shiva. She danced on each Shivaratri time (Shivaratri day for us is an auspicious time during which Devas do special pooja for Mahadev) despite of the place she resides in. She was also given practice classes in warfare by Mata Parvati and her brother Lord Karthikeya (Lord of war).

Things were quite usual until she received an invitation from Lord Narayan to take birth in the Earth as his daughter and also explore the life of a human being. She got permission from 3 of her Pithashrees and then accepted this boon.

She was ready for her voyage and exploration on the Earth as she loved Mata Bhumidevi (her mother) very much.
