Meera stands sadly thinking something. Her sister asks if she is thinking about tomorrow’s alliance. Meera says yes and asks if she is so bad. Sister says no, but she has to change. Down in the living, Meera’s father Amar fumes on family ladies for lying to get Meera’s alliance. He scolds what do they mean by officially qualified homemaker and if Chawla’s want their bahu to work in kitchen, why do they want qualified. He fumes about another boy’s family suggesting to get Meera’s nose job, etc… ands ays Meera is nose/pride of this house and reminds how Meera took care of family and business when he was ill. Dolly says she knows everything. Biji/daadi says they will give a lot of dowry and get Meera married. Dolly says she knows, but where will they get dowry from, so what is wrong in lying a bit.
Meera’s sister suggests her to learn English. Meera asks what if boy’s family wants French. Sister says she should learn that. Meera asks what if they need desi girl. Sister suggests to unlearn everything then. Meera changes her dress and says she is going for kabbadi practice as kabbadi is her passion. Sister asks what will she says taiji/Dolly. Meera asks to manage for 1 hour and runs down via pipe. Dolly walks in with kheer and asks where is Meera. Sister tries to divert her attention, but Dolly hears bike sound and shouts Meera ran away again.
Meera reaches kabbaddi ground and plays kabbaddi with her friends. She wins. Her brother comes and says papa is calling. At home, Dolly creates tantrums and cries that she will not have food until Meera returns. Amar tries to convince her. Daadi interferes and asks not to strangulate children with over-expectations. Dolly shouts like she has right on her son, she has right on her daughter. Meera returns and hugs papa and mamma and calms them.
Meera takes tea for Amar and says she is a burden for him and will accept whatever alliance comes next and will behave well. Amar gets emotional and says if he had not fallen ill, Meera would not have taken responsibility of shop and stopped her studies, she would have also gone to English medium. Meera calms him down and says he did not even tell there is no sugar in tea and drank it silently. Father and daughter bonding continues…
Precap: Meera confronts Dolly to get her married to any handicap and get rid of her. Dolly slaps her.

Reading the episode was interesting but seeing it was entertaining. Although I have to wait till next day to see it on Desitvflix, my waiting was worth every minute of the episode. Seema, I happy that you are here too with Cathy and myself and I’m hoping that our other friends join us as well. I like Meera, she’s spunky and energetic and her big eyes are full of expressions…and the father /daughter relationship is beautiful… Hoping that all goes well with this serial…..
Just a thought, But i would have loved this serial to focus on the Academy, doing a show with quirky instructors, desperate students, the strict headmistress and her handsome son and Meera being a reluctant student that attracts the handsome son would have been different. but this being only the second episode i hope it doesn’t end up being like every other serial showing now.
Why does her mother want her to get married so badly? If it wasn’t for Meera who would have taken care of the family and the business? I am not liking her mother.
Hi friends how are you all doing ? I am here just to reconnect with you all. Can’t bring myself watching this show after ADDNK. Not interested in any story focused ( or trying hard NOT to focus) on wedding / marriage and a drama created out of it, a big put off for me. Ultimately we all know the girl will fall for the guy and do compromises ( to whatever extent needed) to make the relationship work and finally all will live happily forever, not before trying to seriously break, destroy and kill each other….Phew ! Too bored and frustrated with these run of the mill stuff, So most definitely NOT going to endorse and follow it. Further, the look of this show and characters remind me of GEET , one of my all time favourite shows, I think this one to some extent copy from Geet, again a huge put off ! Just waiting for something exciting to come my way. Till then I will be on this forum to interact with you friends.

I’ve seen him in KKB and I think he was sidelined in a big way so i”ll stay here till I see crap happening, till then, I’ll hold on. I don’t know the lead actress, I think she’s cute and her acting seems genuine and expressive, I’m gIrving her a shot… Let’s see what she can do.
Hi arushi i know how u feel..it’s so hard for me to watch another show after addnk i am still heartbroken over it…like naz i am here to stay connected with everyone from addnk..hope to chat with you from time to time…Naz i dont know arijit taneja as i have never really follow kkb but from your comments i look forward to seeing him in the show…as for meera i like her attitude, she’s tomboyish and dont let anyone force her to do somthing she dosent want to…so let’s see how the show goes
Arijit was the original Purab in KKB… Abhi’s best childhood friend and confidante and the obsession of psycho Aliya who is abhi’s sister… Arijit left the serial, no reason was given but I’m glad he did. He carried the role of Purab so beautifully that I couldn’t like his replacement.. that’s why I’m happy to see him get his own serial… good luck to him…so happy you are here too…and I’m sure Lakshmi will be here soon…
