The Episode starts with Amruta attempting to leave the Ahuja house. Abhir notices a shadow and asks who it is. When he turns on the lights, he finds Babita, who explains that she woke up for water and asks why Abhir is awake at this hour. Abhir comments, then dismisses it, saying it’s nothing, and leaves. Amruta is seen hiding from Abhir.
Babita questions Amruta about her late-night departure. Amruta tells Babita that she’s going to take a DNA test, revealing she has Virat’s hair sample and intends to match it with Babita’s blood to prove Ranvir is Virat. Babita reacts to this, and Amruta leaves the Ahuja house.
Abhir thinks about Amruta, and Mandira approaches him with food. Abhir refuses, saying he’s not in the mood. Mandira comments on his constant concern for Amruta, suggesting that it might be love. She further tells him that Amruta still loves Virat and will never accept his feelings, urging him to move on and leaving. Abhir then looks out the window and sees Amruta leaving in a car.
Amruta arrives at the lab and hands over the DNA samples. The receptionist tells her the results will take time and suggests she come back in the morning, but Amruta insists on waiting. A figure in a black hoodie is seen observing Amruta. Amruta falls asleep in the chair.
The next morning, Amruta wakes up to find the hoodie-clad person. She asks who they are, but the person leaves. The receptionist calls her, and Amruta receives the DNA report, which shows a negative result. She steps aside, disheartened, realizing she had hoped Ranvir was Virat. Virat finds a bracelet among his accessories and wonders where it came from. Amruta spots the black hoodie person again and confronts them. It’s revealed to be Abhir, who teases her, saying Bhavani sent him to spy on her. Abhir then looks at the DNA report, and Amruta admits that although she believed Ranvir could be Virat, the report proves otherwise. Abhir advises her to move on with her life. Manvi, also in a black hoodie, reflects that Ranvir will always remain Ranvir.
Babita, seeing the DNA report, refuses to believe it and tells Amruta they’ll search for the truth in another way. Amruta insists she won’t pursue it anymore. Babita asks if she’s given up, and Bhavani comments on Babita’s decision. Abhir steps in, saying as the son of the house, he has decided there will be no further investigations. Babita warns Abhir not to try to replace Virat in the family, causing Abhir to leave upset.
Abhir reflects on how his father always compared him to Virat, making him feel inadequate. Amruta comes to comfort him, and Abhir encourages her to spend time with her mother.
