Chapter 45
The sherni Naira !!
“What are you doing here Rithvik ?!!” Naira screamed just to hide her fear because of his bloodshot red eyes. Rithvik just smiled at her smugly.
“Karthik !! Karthik !! and Karthik. Why Naira ?!! Why ?!!” Rithvik shouted at the top of his voice which made Naira flinch a little.
“What do you mean by why ?!! He is my husband. Why would I not think about him ?!!” Naira asked in return.
“If everything had gone accordingly, I would have been in his place. I would have been your husband. You would have been thinking about me. Why did you do that, Naira ?!!” Rithvik asked her.
“How did you get in Rithvik ?!!” Naira asked not bothering to answer his questions.
Rithvik staggered towards her and Naira sensed threat. He took hold of her hands and pinned her to the wall. It is then that she smelled alcohol in his breath. Oh no, she was in deep trouble. He was angry and he was not in his senses.
“You are drunk.” Naira stated the obvious.
He now completely pinned her to the wall by his body and his hands gripped her wrists tightly. The bangles that Naira was wearing started to break because of his brutal hold. The broken glass peices peirced in her skin at the wrist and blood oozed out.
“Get off me Rithvik.” She said and tried to push him off her but he was heavier than she thought. She struggled to get away from him but he simply ignored her.
“You promised me that you will marry me when I will get a good job. I have a huge business empire now. Then why can’t you be with me ?!!” Rithvik asked and tightened his hold on her wrists. Tears came out of her eyes because of his rough handling.
“I just said that to get rid of you. I have already told you why I did all of that.” Naira said in a broken voice.
“I thought my girl was different from everyone else, I thought that you will surely wait for my return but you proved that you are just like those who take advantage of other people’s feelings.” Rithvik blamed her.
“Please leave me Rithvik. Its hurting……” Naira started to say but Rithvik placed his finger on her lips silencing her.
“You know my mother died six months back. At that moment I felt alone. You can’t even imagine my emotional mindset but do you know who stood beside me ?!!” Rithvik asked fiercely. Naira didn’t answer as she was in pain.
“You !!” He spat out when he didn’t get any response from Naira.
“It was you Naira. Your words, your smile, your scent and your promise. Everything related to you became a light in my darkness filled world. I thought you would become my family. But then…” Rithvik said but broke down at the end.
She felt sad listening about his mother’s death and all that he had been through. Surely, she never loved him but he was a brilliant person with a good heart. Apart from being obessed with her, he didn’t have any other bad quality. She never wanted bad to happen with him.
“But what did you do ?!! You married someone else and you are enjoying your life by ruining mine. Two years. Two freaking years. There wasn’t a moment that passed when I didn’t think of you.” Rithvik said.
“Look Rithvik, you are……” Naira started to say.
Before she could complete her sentence, Rithvik lifted her up in the air and threw her on the bed. Without giving her any chance to escape, he climbed on top of her effectively pinning her to the mattresses.
The whole situation brought tears to Naira’s eyes. She knew that this was wrong but she didnt have the physical strength to fight with him. She was already tired and all the blood loss was making her feel dizzy.
“I will make everything right. From now, you will be my princess. Only mine.” Rithvik said and bent his face towards hers.
Naira turned her face away from him, blocking him by her hands. She knew that he was about to kiss her so she tried to move her face away from his. Rithvik let out a groan of frustration and pinned her both hands above her head so that she couldn’t stop him.
“Rithvik !! No !!” Naira said. A sob escaped her lips as she was helpless.
Closing her eyes tightly and focussing all the energy she had to her hands, she pushed him hard which resulted in Rithvik falling on the floor. He was shocked as well as frustrated and cursed her.
Naira sat on the bed and grabbed the flower vase that was kept on the night stand beside their bed. She had enough of him now, she won’t bear anymore is what she decided.
“One step towards me and I promise, that I will make you regret it.” Naira warned him aiming the vase at him.
Rithvik shook his head, grinned evily and walked towards her. Just as he was about to touch her, Naira broke the vase on his head and kicked him in the groin. Rithvik stumbled back, holding his head with his hands. He fell on the floor as blood started to ooze out of his head.
Tears started to flow out of Naira’s eyes.

One Chapter down. Only four more to go. I know I am super late but please forgive me. I promise that from now on I will try my best to update on alternate days. I would be finishing off with this FF by the end of this week, hopefully.
I hope all of you are happy and healthy. I have not been able to stay active as I have my submissions going on and my exams would be starting by the end of this month. But still I love all you and I want you all to know that I appreciate your love and support.
