Chapter 25
When she starts caring for him !!
Naira narrowed her eyes when she didn’t find her couch in the room. Karthik was already sitting on the bed.
“Where is my couch ?!!” She asked crossing her arms to which he just shrugged. The corners of his lips curved up which seemed like a smirk.
Naira knew why he was doing this. She had been sleeping on the bed next to him since the last few days due to circumstances. Once she was so tired that she didn’t even realise when she fell asleep while yesterday, she wanted to be with him after their talk about past.
But then she was not ready to share the bed with him every day. So this was his plan to make her agree for sleeping in the bed with him.
“I know that this is your plan.” She said with her hands on her hips.
“You are really a genius.” He mocked her for stating the obvious fact.
“There’s no need to be sarcastic. You are no smart than me.” She argued. He placed his right hand on his chest and faked a gasp.
“Those words are hurting and by the way, my comment was genuine.” Karthik said.
Naira stamped her foot and sat on the other corner of the bed. Karthik smiled smugly before leaving the room with his mobile. Naira just glared at his retreating form.

“Finished with your construction ?!!” Karthik asked Naira after he came inside the room two minutes later, disconnecting the call. She jumped a little, suddenly startled by his words.
“Huh ?!!” She asked confused by his words.
“Construction of the great wall of China !!” He said sarcastically pointing at the pillow wall in the middle of their bed and she rolled her eyes.
“I am not used to sleeping this way.” Karthik said.
“You should get used to it, my dear husband. Don’t you dare cross the line or I will break your bones.” Naira warned him and pulled the comforter to her neck.
He smriked to her sarcasm and switched off the main lights before sliding in next to her and dozing off.

Naira opened her eyes as the room was bathed in sunlight and as usual, they searched for Karthik. She was still unaware of the reason why she wanted to see his face, the first in morning. To her surprise, he was not there.
“Where did he go ?!! May be he is in the washroom.” She murmured to herself.
She brushed off some foreign feeling inside her for not seeing him and approached the washroom but he was not inside. Tension started to build in her head. She went down after getting fresh.
“Where is Karthik, Maa ?!!” She asked Suvarna.
“Looks like someone is missing him a lot.” Vrushika bhabi teased her.
Naira blushed which was again something she was not used to doing.
“He said that he had some important meeting. He will be back by night. Don’t worry.” Suvarna answered smilingly.
Naira smiled and joined the ladies in household chores.

Naira kept pacing to and fro in her room and occasionally glancing at the watch. It was almost 9:00 pm. Her tension was increasing because Karthik neither messaged nor called her the entire day, okay, he never called her often but she hasn’t seen him since morning today.
Shaking her head, she thought that a dinner with family would make her feel better. She opened the door of her room to go downstairs when she bumped into Vrushika bhabi.
“I was coming to call you Naira. It’s good that you came.” Vrushika bhabi said and they both walked towards the dining room.
Naira sat beside Keerti, smiling at her. She tried to eat but nothing went down her neck.
“You are acting too typical, Naira . Just drink water and finish your dinner.” Naira said to herself.
She drank water but nothing worked so she stood up to leave the dinning room.
“What happened Naira ?!!” Suvarna asked, looking at the untouched food on Naira’s plate.
“Umm…I will eat with Karthik.” She answered.
Receiving surprised glances from her family she felt shy now. Why are they looking at her this way ?!!
“It’s just because he will not have any company to dine with.” Naira reasoned.
She forced a smile and started leaving, unable to answer their still surprised faces. Naksh fake coughed, to tease his sister. Naira blushed at what her bhai wanted to implement.
Keerti opened her mouth in surprise and stared at Naira until she disappeared. Shantanu bhai smiled satisfactorily while Vrushika bhabi just grinned.
The family was happy and shocked at the same time to see the love blooming between the couple. Everyone knew that both Karthik and Naira had been forced into this relationship. So the family was happy that they were giving each other a chance.
“Close your mouth before any insect enters it.” Naksh teased Keerti, who’s mouth was still open because of what happened a few minutes ago.
She closed her mouth embarrased. While the whole family at the dinning table burst out laughing !!

So firstly, I did mention in the last Chapter that Keesh are staying at Goenka villa because Singhania’s have not accepted them. That was a mistake as in previous Chapters, I have already written about the Singhania family forgiving Keesh and accepting them. So I am sorry for that.
Keesh would be staying at the Goenka mansion for some more days and then will be back to Singhania Sadan. Also this is the 25th Chapter of this FF. So thanks to all of you who motivated me to continue with it.
As for the precap, don’t worry as it would be a small fight and kaira would make up with each other pretty soon. This track was needed to bring them closer.
PS : I soo loved yesterday’s episode. Anushka-SRK and kaira’s dance was soo cute.
