Chapter 13
The Return of Naksh and Keerti !!

Naitik entered his study and started walking to the study table. He sat for a few minutes being silent in the dim light and took out the mobile phone from his pocket.

He then opened it and dailled a number. His fingers started trembling to dail the very much familiar number but finally he did. Someone received the call on the other end.

“Hello.” The voice said at the other end.

Naitik’s heart skipped a beat listening to the voice after almost two years. He remained silent.

“Hello ?!!” The voice asked again.

Naitik still remained silent and is trying to feel the essence of that voice which he missed to the hell in these years.

“Papa ?!!” The voice at the other end said in a chocked voice.

Naitik’s eyes immediately welled up. This is what he wanted to listen. The voice had the same magic, same affection towards him even after two years.

“Naksh.” Naitik said finally in a whisper.

The coldness in his voice remained as a barrier for one minute and silence tried to bring their hearts closer.

“Papa. I am so glad that you called.” Naksh said with a lot of love in his voice.

“We miss you Naksh. Everyone here is waiting for you. Please come back.” Naitik said in a defeated tone.

“I will try to come by the next flight itself.” Naksh said overwhelmed.

“Don’t forget to bring our daughter in law along with you.” Naitik said further.

He heard Naksh smiling and before he could speak anything further, Naitik disconnected the call. Relief flushed his body.

The door of the study opened and Akshara stood there, tears flowing down her cheeks and her eyes filled with affection.

“He is coming. Call Naira, even she missed him a lot all these years. She deserves to meet him.” Naitik said to his wife.

Akshara nodded and walked forward towards him. She sat on his lap in the chair and hugged him tightly. Naitik reciprocated the move and held her in his arms as both of them cried their heart out.

Everyone in the Singhania Sadan had gathered at dining table along with Naira and Karthik. Both of them were clueless as to why were they invited.Naira was confused with all the stuttering and excitement that was flowing in the air of her house.

Naira raised her lashes from the plate and looked around in frustration. She then again started eating but she drank water multiple times. She had a whole lot of Bottlegourd in her plate. It was Bhai’s Favourite but she hated it.

She always transferred it in his plate whenever it was cooked. She missed having him with her today. If he would have been here she wouldn’t have to eat this slingly clumsy vegetable.

Soon everyone finished their lunch and the men sat in the living room discussing about the business issues. While the ladies got to cleaning the dinning table and washing off the plates and utensils.

Akshara was busy with the cleaning when she heard some footsteps approaching her. Her eyes dilated seeing her son, Naksh walking in along with a girl beside him.

“Duggu.” She cried out and ran towards him.

Her eyes had been dying to see him in front of her. Everyone’s attention turned to the entrance to see him standing there with two suitcases.

“Mumma.” He said and hugged his mother.

The girl standing beside him just smiled at the Mother – Son duo. They were about to step inside the house but Naksh’s forehead frowned. He turned to his wife and whispered pointing at Karthik.

“What is your brother doing here ?!!” He asked Keerti.

Immediately she turned and became numb seeing her Chottu, her Brother, her Karthik. It felt like God has listened to all her prayers and fulfilled her wish. Her eyes dilated in happiness.

“Chottu !!” Keerti said with tears forming in her eyes.

She was about to run to hug her brother but was stopped by an arm infront of her. She turned to Naksh and gave him a puzzled look. Naksh nodded his head horizontally, indicating a ‘No’.

“I think it is not good for you to run in this state.” Naksh said.

Initially Keerti narrowed her eyes but soon she got his words and smiled. She then slowly caressed her expanded belly.

“I am sorry.” She said to Naksh as well as her baby.

He smiled and then both of them descended the steps hand in hand while Chitti Maharaj brought their lugagge in.

Karthik ran towards Keerti and hugged her tightly. Keerti also gripped him tightly showing her possessiveness and love for him.

Everyone who were present there were shocked to know that Naksh had married Keerti, Who was Karthik’s sister. They were not known of this fact.

Both of their children had married in the Goenka house and the Singhanias were a bit stumped because of this fact. Natik wondered if Manish or any other member of the Goenka family knew about this.

Naira who was busy in the kitchen heard some noises and came out to the living room to know what was going on. What she saw next, shocked her. Tears flowed down her eyes and she could not wipe off the smile that was spreading on her lips.

Precap : Keesh come to know about Kaira’s Marraige. Kaira going for a coffee date.

I wanted to write the whole millan in a single Chapter but couldn’t.

The next Chapter will have Naira – Naksh moment. Also Keesh will come to know about Kaira’s Marraige. What do you think will their reaction be like ?!!

You all will have to wait some more for the Keerti and Goenka family millan as before that I would be writting a Kaira coffee date. Some romance and sweet moments coming up.
