Kaira : Together for a moment called Forever by Vrushy ( Chapter 1 )

Hello Everyone.
Chapter 1
The Broken Princess !!

Everyone present in the Singhania Mansion were happy seeing her and blessed her to stay happy for life time. But soon her smile faded away when she saw her Papa.

She should not hate her Papa because he was the most dearest person to her but the circumstances forced her to do that. The papa who once considered her as his princess, now thought of her as a burden.

She slowly stood up from the stool that she had been sitting on and started walking towards her room. Her mumma didn’t want her to smudge the mehindi that was drawn on her hands, and thus accompanied her. She felt great difficulty in walking as it had been three hours that she had been sitting there for her mehindi function.

Mishti also accompained them till her room. When finally they reached her room, her Mumma left but Mishti came with her inside her room.

“You know, it is believed that the intensity of the colour of mehindi indicates the love your Life partner has for you.” Mishti said all excited.

She giggled and fake blushed at her sister’s teasing. Only if Mishti knew what was exactly happening with her. Soon enough mishti was called by Karishma chachi and she left.

She then closed the door of her room . Soon the fake smile she had on her face faded away, her eyes lost their charm, her face became dull and weak.

Tears started rolling down her cheeks as she moved towards the dressing table. She slowly lifted her eyes to take a glance at herself. The blue colored duppata which was once her favourite seemed as the color which she hated the most now because it was her groom’s favorite color as well.

She stared into the reflection of her eyes and the sight irritated her. Her kajal was smuged and her eyes lost the liveliness that once lightened the whole house. When she was able to see her own pain then why were others inevedent of it ?!!

Her father, who she always looked upto as an inspiration, had let her down . Her mumma, who always supported and stood for justice had wronged her . Her grand parents, who were unable to tolerate even a drop of her tears became the cause of her pain. Her own family had disappointed her and the trust that she put in them.

Tears kept rolling down her cheeks. She slowly raised her left hand to see the name which was the root cause of her pain. Her eyes burned with hate, her jaw Clenched in anger, frustration dominated her emotions. She immediately rubbed her hands against each other just to erase his name, even him from her life but it was too late.

The Mehindi had already done its work and his name ‘Karthik’ was printed in light shade of red which would become more darker in the next few hours. Even God didn’t listen to her today.

Her gaze froze at a picture which was placed in the photoframe on her bedside table. It had a boy and a girl smiling whole heartdly. The boy was tickling the girl. She slowly moved towards the picture and slid her hand on the boy standing next to her in the photograph.

“Only if you were here bhaiyu. You would have never let this happen. I miss you the most today.” She said sobbing because of all the crying and slid down on the floor next to her bed. She hugged the photoframe to her chest and cried till her tears turned dry.

Just then Akshara entered the room and saw her daughter in a broken state. Her own heart clenched while looking at her daughter.

“Naira.” Akshara called out and walked towards her daughter who was sitting on the floor crying. Naira immediately wiped her tears and put the photoframe behind her back.

She knew her mumma would break down once she sees the picture. Afterall she was more close to him, than Naira can ever imagine. If she had lost a Brother, her mumma had lost a son. Naira hid the photoframe and then turned to face her mumma.

“Yes, mumma.” Naira answered.

“I know its very difficult for you to accept what is going on but I trust my daughter. You are the strongest of all, You know that, right ?!!” Akshara said and slid her hand over her daughters head.

“Don’t worry mumma, I am sure that papa has made this decision for my happiness.” Naira said, her voice dripping with pain which didn’t fail to reach Akshara.

After all she was her mumma but now she could not afford to become weak because then her daughter might break into pieces.

Akshara tried to act strong not just for herself, but also for her daughter. Now was not the time to break apart and cry over what was happening. She needed to be the pillar of strength for her daughter and support her so that she doesn’t fall weak.

“This is your lehenga for your marriage, Naira and please don’t cry anymore otherwise you would have a flowing nose and red cheeks in your wedding pictures.” Akshara said to lighten her daughters mood. But it failed to bring a smile on Naira’s face.

Naira just nodded her head, and hugged her mumma. After sometime Akshara pulled away and left Naira’s room leaving her heart broken. Naira just thought about how much she will miss all of this after she gets married tomorrow.

Precap : The Wedding.
