Chapter 27
The marraige…

“Come on, let’s get tied down, it would be a dreamy one, like the way you would have never imagined.” He said looking down at her.

“No way !!” She cried out in agitation. Hot tears rolled down her cheeks.

“Don’t do this !! ” She sobbed again.

But he didn’t listen and just dragged her inside the house.

” You are mistaken about something. I don’t know what it is but please stop with this.” Naira said again.

He didn’t pay any heed to her. Once inside she saw an unknow person in a lawyers coat seating on the sofa.

” Have you arranged the papers as I told you ?!!” Karthik asked the man.

” Yes, sir. They are ready.” The man wispered looking at the two of them.

” Act along babe. You know what I can do, if you don’t agree to this !!” Karthik whispered threatning Naira.

” Here is my fiancee. She was too excited to get a registered marraige, that I had to get you out of the court and make you come here.” Karthik chuckled, and slid his hand over her waist.

Registered marraige ?!! Naira’s eyes bugged out at that.

” You need to sign on these papers right away then. ” The man with the coat said.

Naira just stood there staring down at the papers. Her eyes stinged and flowed quite heavily.

” By the way, I don’t see any enagagement rings in your hands ?!!” The man asked in keen observation.

Naira looked across at Karthik, the man who was hell bent on ruining her life. He only smiled at her and took out a velvet box from his pocket.

” My fiancee is such romantic, she says that we should put on the rings while we sign the papers.” He said.

Her breath caught in her throat looking at the box when he opened it. It was the rings that they choose for each other. He caught hold of her left hand. The hot tears of her eyes rolled down, and fell over his wrist bone and his eyes snapped back to hers. His eyes went a little soft as he slid the ring on her ring finger. He made her slid the ring in his own finger forcefully.

He then calmly signed the papers one by one. Naira’s heart gave out when he slid the pen towards her. She just stood there unblinkingly.

” She is just too shy.” Karthik said in a false explanation.

“Sign the papers, babe” Karthik said to naira pulling her closer to him by her waist.

She finally gave up and signed the papers. After she was done she closed her eyes and sighed. Everything was done now. Over, her mind screamed.

“Well good, I will submit this the first thing in the morning, tomorrow. ” The man in the coat explained and moved out of the house.

“Why not seal the deal with a kiss ?!!” Karthik said.

He then landed his lips on her.He kissed her with such forceful possesion that, Naira beat at his chest in protest. He held her by her waist and pushed her more into himself as she tried to pull away. His lips became less demanding suddenly and then he kissed her lower lip in the softest manner. Finally he pulled away.

Naira remained as impassive in his arms, but a sudden rack of tears and sobs attacked her body and she held the collar of his shirt and pulled at it with all her force.

” Why did you do this ?!!” She cried out.

He just stood there like a statue until she stopped shouting. After she was dead tired with all the crying and opposing him. He caught hold of her hand again. He dragged her across the hall to his bedroom. Naira didn’t have the energy to resist against him anymore. She meekly went after him.

He brought her inside the room and made her sit on the huge bed. He sat down on his knees beside her and said ” We would be officialy married by tomorrow. I want you to stay here until then. If you try to escape like you did the previous time then it won’t be good.”

He warned her and moved out of the room.

Naira sat on the bed pale and lifeless. She didn’t know what happened with her today. The whole day was a mess and it was just hard to accept all the things that took place today. Tired out emotionally and physically she finally sild down on the bed.

The ring on her finger and her sign on the papers. Please god, let it be a bad dream that would pass away. Her eyes drooped down and she fell asleep.

So they are an officially married couple now. Some really sweet husband and wife moments coming up. The next 4-5 Chapters would be light hearted moments between kaira and nothing intense.

I would be showing how they adjust with each other and try to accept the fact that no matter what, they are husband and wife now, they are married !!
