Chapter 26
The Kidnapping !!
Naira drove her car in the darkened street, tears stinging her eyes thinking of how such a fool she was, it started to drizzle now but she didn’t care.
Two big tears rolled down her eyes, as she just drove aimlessly on the road. But a screech of some other vehicle behind her car annoyed her attention away from her saddened thoughts. She saw through the rectangular narrow mirror that a dark black car kept zooming closer behind hers.
What ?!! Who ?!!
She ignored the incessantly honking of the car.
But, the car behind her screeched beside to hers and moved forward. It turned and stopped right infornt of hers. Naira’s eyes widened and she halted her car.
Her body propelled forward, and her head hit the starring wheel hard. Naira slid her right hand over the side of her forhead. A little of blood covered her fingers. She looked forward at the annoying car.
The car door opened, and a leg came out. Naira froze, when she saw the person get out of the car.
She started breathing heavy, as she saw Karthik turn at her side. He opened her car door, and caught her hand. All the while she could just stare open mouthed at him. He dragged her out of the car, and Naira stumbled on her feet.
His hold was brutal.
He just dragged her to his car, and that’s when she got out of the trance, and started to struggle against his hold.
“What are you doing here ?!! ”She asked.
“Get in.” Karthik’s voice burned down at her coldly, and Naira’s body locked in surprise at his too far away a tone.
“What ?!!”She asked in a whisper and jerked back.
His eyes narrowed at her face.
“Get in.”He bit down, in her face.
Naira felt her heart rate spike up.
“No.”She whispered and moved forward to escape from his hold.
But, Karthik caught her waist from behind, and her eyes bugged out at that. An immediate panic set in at that and she started to shout and scream.
“No !! No !! I said I’m not going to get in !!” Naira shouted, but her throaty scream just fell on deaf ears as he whipped her and pushed her into the back of his car.
Naira’s eyes went to the car door, but he locked the doors before she could reach for it.
She tried to pull it down but it didn’t budge at all.
“What is this ?!! Where are you taking me ?!!”She asked cautiously, and her wild eyes peered out of the car window in rising anxiety.
He leaned back and stared at her.
“Someplace very far. So far and out that you couldn’t reach anyone even if you wanted to desperately.” Karthik said in a calm voice.
Naira’s heart gave out at that in fear. Her face paled and her lips lost the colour.
“You’re kidnapping me ?!!” She asked.
He just remained silent and dark. His eyes lost all the warmth.Her mind went into utter panic and fright.
“You can’t do that.”She gasped incredulously and in disbelief.
Something was wrong here. Too wrong. She could feel it in her blood.
He leaned forward and his face arranged in a sneer down at her.
“You’ve no idea of what things I am capable of or what things I can do.”He whispered.
Why was he talking to her like that ?!! Like she had done some crime or betrayed him.
“Somebody of my family will find out and come looking after me by night.”She narrowed her eyes.
“Who would come looking ?!! Your father ?!!”He asked.
“Before anybody would find out, everything will be sorted out by then.”He whispered.
“What is going to be sorted out by then ?!!”She asked in a low breath and stuttering of tone.
“Everything.” Karthik answered.
There was silence in the car for the next five minutes as neither of them knew what to say. But then Karthik broke the silence.
“Does your father always throw you as a temptation at the men he deals with ?!! This is how he does business ?!! By pushing his daughter as a display.”He slandered in rage.
What the hell was he talking about ?!! Her swimming eyes slid all around his face, but she could see a rage. She did not like it at all.
“You can’t make me do anything against my will.” Naira said fiercely, trying to gulp down the rising tears.
He only stared back at here.
The car finally stopped at a halt and Naira’s heart skipped some beats.
Where had he brought her ?!! What was going on ?!!
He opened the car door, and got out still holding her hand. She looked around and realised he had brought her to his mansion.
“Come on, let’s get tied down, it would be a dreamy one, like the way you would have never imagined.” He said looking down at her.
“No way !!” She cried out in agitation. Hot tears rolled down her cheeks.
“Don’t do this !! ” She sobbed again.

Sorry for making you peeps wait for this Chapter. But I was demotivated yesterday due to some comments. I was already not in a good mood because of my stitches and thus I get depressed very easily these days. Had a writter’s block and could not even write a small paragraph !!
