Chapter 25
The Misunderstanding.

As soon as Naira left the cabin, Karthik’s smile just vanished into thin air.That was easy, to make her hate him, but the thing that passed over her features. That sheer terror, when he said, he would call her father. What was that ?!!

That pained tortured voice as it came out of her throat, made his back straighten in alert. What the hell would happen ?!!

He slid down in the chair, and opened the tiffin box. The smell of gajar ka halwa flew up into his nostrils, and his hands reached to eat it. He started devouring it, bit by bit in extreme hunger.

The door of his cabin opened suddenly.

Swayam stood there blinking, watching Karthik eat the orange coloured sweet with bare hands. Some of his white shirt near the chest area was also stained because of it.

Karthik wiped his mouth with a paper napkin.

“Yeah.” He clipped.

“The man who cut the break wires of your car, had been in a follow up of your where abouts since a few weeks now.” Swayam informed him.

“Who is he ?!!” Karthik asked, and his mind kept thinking about the enemies he had made against his business.

“It’s the man hired by Mr. Singhania. Your future father-in-law.” Swayam concluded.

“Alright.” Karthik said and Swayam hurried out of the cabin.

Karthik sagged back on the chair, and his mind started to churn. His fingertips joined together. He should act fast now.

A lot was riding here on the marriage. His father’s land. His family’s last memory. His peace of mind, and someone’s else’s freedom and dream too. Why not make a proposition ?!! Both he and Naira would be in advantage of this, but he wouldn’t go too trusting on her, after all she was his enemie’s daughter. Blood will be blood, he thought disgustedly.

Who knows if it was all her father’s plan. He couldn’t help but wonder now. Was she involved in this ?!! Maybe her father suggested to do as he says if she wants to persuade her dream of dancing. Was she aware about the vehicle being tampered ?!!

He dialled a number and waited for it connect.

“Do you think your dirty paws could even make a scratch at me.” Karthik growled.

“It was just a trailer.You don’t threaten an old experienced player in the business game. Be aware young man. Be very aware of your back. You never will know from where the strike would come hitting your head as a surprise !!” Mr. Singhania started to laugh a little.

“I don’t get frightend easily, Mr. Singhania.” Karthik said calmly in a whisper of a warning.

He didn’t get an answer but only laughter of the old man.

“Did you involve your daughter in the dirty play too ?!!” Karthik asked.

The laughter stopped abruptly and there was only a silence for a while and Karthik waited with baited breath, for a negative reply.

“Of course, my dear daughter does whatever her papa says. She is one hidden soldier.” Mr. Singhania replied.

Karthik hurled the phone across the cabin with a deep rising violence from inside his mind and heart.

The betrayal of her innocent face came as a hard hurting punch to his face. Karthik pulled at his hair, his eyes watered and reddend with the affect of it.

The fool that he was, went and believed, and fell right into their trap.

Karthik wiped away his eyes.

Mr. Singhania did a great mistake leaving his dear daughter all alone in Udaipur…..

So one mystery has been revealed in this Chapter, it was Mr. Singhania who was behind Karthik’s life. But then now he has bown a seed of betrayal in Karthik’s mind. Karthik now has doubt that Naira is also involved with her father. But then he has also realised that Naira is scared of her father, the truth will soon unfold.

As many of you might have guessed, its going to be a forced marraige. Only one Chapter to go and then kaira would be bound by the unbreakable relation. As for the precap, guess who kidnaps whom ?!!

Last but not the least, this is 25th Chapter of my FF. All thanks to you peeps for your love and support. I have lost the count of milestones that I have achieved on this site through my work only because of you peeps. Love you all !!
