The episode starts with Naira walking aimlessly on the road,lost in her thoughts with a sleeping Kaira in her arms. She was shattered, shattered at the revelation that her husband had a kid, and the kid was not theirs but it was an excerpt from that lady’s womb whom he had divorced. She was halved, halved at the thought that her Kartik had become someone’s else before becoming hers. Kartik and Trisha had become two bodies one soul.
Tears were continuously rolling down her eyes and they had left their stains on the face once which was lit up with a bright smile. She reached their apartment. She climbed up the stairs and unlocked the door. As she opened the door, her eyes fell upon her and Kartik’s pictures hung on the wall – from their first meet to the birth of Kaira.
She went near them and caressed them. She then looked at the sleeping Kaira. She kissed on her forehead and walked towards her cot and placed her in it.
She then walked towards the couch and sat on it, still the horrifying revelation was hovering on her mind. Just then, her phone rang.
She saw Kartik’s name in the caller ID. She composed herself a bit and picked up the call.
Naira: Hello…
Kartik: Naira…woh actually I can’t go with you to the Singhania Sadan at the evening…. I am having a very important work…. you go with Kaira… I will come tomorrow
Naira: But Kartik…
Before she could complete her sentence, Kartik cut the call. She was shocked at his ignorance. He had never done this before. She was totally confused. She threw her phone and broke down.
The scene shifts to the Goenka Villa
Swarna is seen praying in front of the God’s place.
Swarna: Bhagwan ji…plz give Naira strength to face all the difficulties…. I know it will be very difficult for her to accept such a big truth….but plz give her strength…. I don’t want myself to become a thorn in Kartik and Naira’s happiness
She prays
The scene shifts to the Singhania Sadan
Naira got off the cab with Kaira in her arms.
Naira(in mind): I thought this would be the best karwachaut of my life…as Kartik would get his family back…but dunno why destiny plays such games with me always…plz give me strength to face my family…. I don’t want to ruin their festival
She enters
All: Naira…
Naira smiles. She goes and touches everyone’s feet Rajshri takes Kaira in her arms. Just then she heard a voice from behind
Voice: Chori… forgot your Bua dadi…
Naira turns back and becomes surprised Bua dadi. She goes and hugs her and touches her feet. Bua dadi cups her face
Bua dadi: It has been so many days that I haven’t seen you….last time tab hi dekha tha when you and jamai sa came back from your honeymoon
Naira smiles
Bua dadi: Kaira… where is Kaira… I haven’t seen her since she is born
Rajshri: Here is your Kaira
Rajshri hands over Kaira to Bua dadi
Bua dadi: Ale…she is toh very cute…she looks just like jamai sa… except for bubbly eyes and rose bud lips like her mother..
She kisses her forehead. Kaira starts crying and streches her arms towards Naira
Bua dadi: You want to go to Mumma…
She gives her to Naira and Kaira comforts herself in her mother’s embrace.
Bua dadi: Where is jamai sa…
Naira looks at her disheartenedly
Bhabhima: Haan..where is jamai sa…
Naira: Actually he was stuck in some work…so he couldn’t come… but don’t worry he will come tomorrow…
Rajshri: If he would have come today…then it would be good…but anyways…let’s start the preparations… otherwise if he comes tomorrow then he would become shocked seeing no preparations
Everyone smiles
PRECAP: Kartik video calls Naira…. Naira sees it and cuts the call
