The Episode starts with UV scolding Katha for accidentally spilling a bucket of water. Determined to fix it, he heads out to fetch more water, borrowing from a neighbour who teases him about not being able to stay away from his wife. Both UV and Katha feel awkward at the remark and quickly retreat inside.

Vandana is startled to see UV carrying the heavy bucket and urges him not to trouble himself. UV brushes it off, saying it’s no big deal, but Vandana turns her frustration on Katha for allowing him to do it. Katha snaps back that she tried to stop him, but he wouldn’t listen, and reveals she’s hurt herself. Concerned, Vandana worries about her injury.

UV soon returns with ointment, but Katha refuses it, preferring herbal treatment instead. She sends Naina

to fetch neem paste. When Katha goes to her room, she overhears UV muttering in irritation and calling her names. This sparks a heated exchange, interrupted by Naina bringing the paste. After she leaves, UV examines it suspiciously, joking that he’s checking if she’s mixed gobar in it. Before Katha can react, he firmly makes her sit and applies the paste himself. When he asks if it burns, she quietly replies that his words hurt her far more. UV is left speechless.

Vandana enters, apologising to both for the trouble and taking away the gathbandhan thread before leaving. Meanwhile, Naina gets emotional about her own dream of bringing Tejash to their home after marriage to perform rituals.

Later, Naina wonders if UV will eat with them, noting she hasn’t seen him share meals with his family. Katha promises to ask him. When Vandana joins, Naina warns of possible food shortage. Vandana suggests UV, Katha, and Mohan eat first, but Katha insists only UV and Mohan should eat. Vandana refuses, saying eating together is part of the ritual.

UV enters, shivering from his cold bath, overhears the discussion, and calls Sandy to send food from his café. When Katha checks if he’s fine eating with her family, he tells her not to overthink. At the table, UV is surprised at the simple meal, which Vandana and Katha misinterpret as disdain. Vandana praises his cooking skills, prompting UV to tease Katha and offer to order food for everyone.

Mohan later brings in the café’s food delivery. UV serves everyone generously and assures Katha that his gesture is sincere, not suspicious. She thanks him for respecting her uncle and aunt, though she remains puzzled by his thoughtfulness. Watching her, UV admits to himself that he can’t stand seeing anyone upset. The moment turns bittersweet as he recalls the last meal he shared with his mother.
