The episode begins with Katha writing in her diary about Mohan, who gave her a good life. She notes how his health has worsened since Naina’s marriage, though Eshwar has been supportive. She writes that her stubbornness may cause Mohan more pain, so she has decided to marry for his sake, but that doesn’t mean she has failed. She remembers how Mohan cared for her after her mother’s death and breaks down in tears.
At the Jindal house, Eshwar discusses the company’s problems with Harshvardan, explaining some people want to buy Jindal Pharmacy at a low price. UV arrives, calls Eshwar HOF, and surprises everyone by agreeing to Eshwar’s marriage deal to save his café. Eshwar feels relieved. UV warns Eshwar that though he may have won this round, he will win all future
Harshvardan asks Eshwar about UV’s marriage plans. Ambika urges Vinith to ask who the bride is, but UV interrupts, saying he doesn’t care whom he marries because he isn’t accepting this marriage anyway. Everyone is shocked. Rukhmani and his cousins try to make him understand, but UV insists he will do anything to get back his mother’s café. Rukhmani scolds him as he leaves. Eshwar remains hopeful UV will eventually fall in love. Rukhmani rebukes Eshwar for ignoring the bride’s emotions and says today’s generation meets their partner before marrying. Eshwar counters that if he and Rukhmani had met before marriage, they might not be together now. He then tells the family to prepare for UV’s wedding soon before he changes his mind.
Meanwhile, Katha visits Vandana and learns Mohan is still unwell. She asks if Mohan is stressed about her marriage. Vandana is shocked that Katha overheard their conversation. Vandana assures her they won’t force her into marriage and promises to find another solution. Katha tells her that marriage is the solution for Mohan’s well-being. Vandana gets emotional and hugs her. Naina overhears and realises this is why both Katha and Mohan have been restless.
Later, Naina advises Katha not to marry for others, but Katha says Mohan has done so much for her since childhood, so she will marry the groom. Elsewhere, Mohan thinks about revealing the groom’s identity to Katha.
Precap: Katha tells her mother’s photo that she won’t tell Mohan or Vandana about her unhappiness. Mohan arrives and places UV’s photo in her book, hoping she learns the truth. Later, the photo falls out near a pot, and Katha picks it up, looking shocked.
