The Episode starts with Chandrika deep in conversation with a guest, while Rukmini paces anxiously. She worries that UV and Katha haven’t returned. She sends her granddaughters—Shlok, Charu, and Pari—to find out what’s happening. They promise to investigate and hurry off. Meanwhile, another guest asks Rukmini about the bride and groom’s absence. Rukmini, flustered, blames “today’s youth” and improvises excuses. Chandrika corners her: “How long will we lie to everyone?” Rukmini admits she’s just as worried.
Back at the Jindal home, Mohan and his family arrive for the reception. Rukmini greets them but worries UV and Katha aren’t happy in their marriage. Outside, Katha is distraught. Shikha consoles her, saying Katha did everything she could to bring UV back. Katha breaks down, convinced she’s failed. Charu arrives and reassures her that the elders will handle the guests, freeing Katha from guilt.
Pari and Ash enter, demanding to know where UV is. Pari scolds Eshwar for putting Katha in charge of finding UV. Just then, UV strides in, ending the tension. Relief washes over everyone. Eshwar thanks God that choosing Katha for UV was the right decision. UV jokes with Eshwar, “I didn’t come back for Katha—I came back for my mother.” Katha overhears and quietly thanks God that their earlier conversation about UV’s mother worked. Later, Eshwar and Harshvardhan puzzle over UV’s words, and Shlok explains Katha’s heartfelt plea about family.
Soon, Katha and UV take the stage to begin the reception ceremony. Ambika shoots an annoyed look at Tammy for failing to prevent UV’s return. Shlok tells UV to smile; UV glares in response. Eshwar and Rukmini hope the couple will finally accept each other. Shlok delivers a warm speech, inviting guests to bless the newlyweds. One by one, friends and family step forward with kind wishes.
Mohan and Vandana approach the stage next. UV, still sulking, tries to leave but Shlok steers him back to accept their blessings. UV stumbles forward, and Vandana pleads, “Please take care of our Katha,” as she and Mohan place their hands over his.
As UV turns to leave again, Shlok announces a surprise—Eshwar has arranged a musical battle between Team Katha and Team UV. Guests must choose sides. Eshwar taps Katha for his team; she agrees. Prerna nudges Naina to join UV’s team.
Chandrika, remembering Katha’s talent, asks her to sing. Katha hesitates but then delivers a soulful old song, earning enthusiastic applause. Buoyed by the mood, Eshwar teases UV’s side, daring them to perform. UV’s cousin insists he sing, but UV initially refuses. After more taunts, he relents and sings a peppy number, dancing with his cousins.
Next, Shlok and Charu try to get both Katha and UV dancing together. Each resists, annoyed at being trapped under a shared cloth. The playful tug-of-war shows their stubbornness and unresolved tension.
Precap: Katha invites UV to Mohan’s house for the pagphera ritual. UV ridicules her, demanding a two-minute English speech before he’ll come. Tammy smirks, confident UV will win this challenge. But when Katha delivers flawless English, UV is left speechless—and Tammy is stunned.
