The Episode starts with Uday being asked about his true feelings for Katha. According to him, his only reason to stand by her is to repay the contribution and sacrifices she has made for the Jindal family. His words leave a cloud of uncertainty hanging over their relationship.
Katha, meanwhile, receives heartfelt appreciation from her grandfather. He acknowledges her endless efforts and tells her how valuable she has been to the family. Out of gratitude, he even expresses his desire to gift her something precious. Katha, with her gentle humility, declines the offer for now, assuring him that she will ask if she ever needs anything in the future.
While conversing, Katha suddenly remembers Gayatri, who has been alone for a long while. Concerned, she rushes to check on her and even makes a call asking her to wait at the gate. To her disappointment, Gayatri is nowhere to be found, leaving Katha with more unanswered questions.
Later, Uday once again thanks Katha for handling a tense situation wisely. He admits that her calm presence saved the family’s honor. Other members too praise her intelligence and courage. The collective admiration makes Katha feel valued but also increases her sense of responsibility toward everyone.
During the Janmashtami celebrations, the family asks Katha and Uday to perform the Aarti together. Katha gently guides Uday, reminding him to rotate the plate clockwise. Together they complete the ritual, a moment that silently reflects their harmony despite the cracks in their bond.
The next morning, Badi Dadi arranges a yoga session for the women of the house. Katha tries to participate, but her heart is restless, occupied with thoughts of debt and repayment. In the middle of the session, Dadi notices Parineeti’s absence and asks Katha to fetch water. When Katha heads to the kitchen, she is startled to find Pari dressed in formal clothes, ready to leave. Suspicious, Katha questions her, but Pari brushes her off and rushes out.
Coincidentally, Tejas spots Pari boarding an auto-rickshaw. Curious, he follows her and discovers her secret — she has been working in a company without informing the family. This revelation promises new complications ahead.
Back at home, Uday speaks to Katha once again. He thanks her for supporting the children and standing firmly for the family. His words carry sincerity, as he stresses that he values her presence as a friend. But Katha refuses to accept even this. Her mind replays the bitter memory of Uday’s harsh rejection, where he denied acknowledging her as his wife. That wound still stings.
Uday feels dejected at her refusal. Naina steps in, urging Katha to at least show gratitude. She reminds her that Uday has helped repay her father’s debt and deserves acknowledgment. Katha remains conflicted, torn between hurt and gratitude.
