The Episode starts with Chandrika advising Katha about her duties as the new daughter-in-law. She talks about how understanding strengthens a marriage, which instantly makes Katha emotional, thinking about Armaan’s harsh words. Chandrika encourages her to keep the family together. Meanwhile, Ash and Pari continue grumbling about Katha’s efforts, clearly unimpressed.
Eshwar arrives and immediately praises Katha for showing interest in adjusting to her new life. Armaan’s cousins, who had been eavesdropping, try to hide from Eshwar, but he notices them and doesn’t hesitate to tease them. Rukmini steps in to defend the cousins, prompting them to hug her and flee in a playful moment.
When Armaan shows up, his cousins push him to acknowledge Katha’s sincerity. Instead, he accuses her of emotionally blackmailing him the previous night. Shlok shows curiosity about the blackmail but gets shut down by Armaan, who feels betrayed and declares he can no longer trust anyone in the family.
Later, in the kitchen, Katha is surprised to find Nathu Lal preparing tea for each family member separately. She insists on serving a healthy herbal drink instead, despite his protests. The elders are puzzled and a bit annoyed to see tea replaced. Katha explains the health benefits behind her decision. Armaan mocks Eshwar for letting Katha impose such changes, but Eshwar backs her and encourages everyone to try it. The family pushes him to taste it first, and after he praises it, the rest follow—and end up liking it too. Katha finally wins a few hearts, leaving Armaan and his cousins stunned. Shlok jokingly asks Katha to share the recipe with Charu for when he returns to Singapore. Katha agrees, but Armaan refuses to even taste it and orders Nathu Lal to bring his usual tea, hurting Katha once again.
Mohan arrives to take Armaan and Katha for the pagphere ritual. Rukmini expresses concern about how to convince Armaan. Eshwar stops Shlok from intervening and instead calls Katha. He opens up about his disappointment and helplessness, admitting that the cousins refuse to help fearing Armaan’s anger. Katha remembers the promise Armaan made to her but wonders if he’ll ever truly stand by his words. Meanwhile, Shikha scolds the cousins for being selfish and not stepping up to support the family.
In Armaan’s room, Tammy lashes out at him for doubting her work and comparing her to “gobar devi.” Sandy tells her to calm down, but Tammy accuses Katha of trapping Armaan into marriage. Armaan’s response is brutal—he says he never accepted Katha as his wife. Hearing this from the hallway, Katha is left shattered.
