The Episode starts with Eshwar giving Katha the responsibility to stop UV from leaving before completing post-wedding rituals. Katha agrees, promising herself that she will fulfil her marital duties. UV gets furious while his cousins mock Katha. Eshwar prepares to leave, but Harshvardhan reminds him of the importance of elders’ presence to control UV’s cousins. Eshwar asks Shlok and Charu to stay back, and they agree. The Jindals leave. Ambika decides to use Tammy to separate Katha from UV so her children inherit the property.
Once everyone leaves, Shlok teases UV and advises him to stay for the night until the vidaai. Katha scolds UV for not thinking about the family’s reputation. UV argues back, refusing to stay, and throws the gadbandhan. Katha catches it and remembers Eshwar and Chandrika’s words. Determined to stop UV from leaving before vidaai, she comes up with a plan.
She approaches UV’s cousins and asks Pratty to stop UV, calling him a police officer. They’re shocked and refuse, saying UV won’t listen to them. Pratty tells her UV won’t accept her as his wife since he was forced into marriage. Katha insists she just wants him to respect elders’ decisions, not accept her as his wife. She criticises Pratty for not using his power as a cop to help her and demands him to act. Both Pratty and Omi hesitate, worried UV will feel betrayed if they intervene. Katha shares an idea with them, making Pratty agree. Omi and UV’s friends are shocked, but Pratty signals Prerna and leaves.
Meanwhile, Tammy is fuming in anger, throwing things around as she recalls Katha and UV’s wedding. She refuses to accept their marriage. Ambika arrives to manipulate Tammy into separating Katha and UV. Tammy argues that Eshwar won’t let them part ways, but Ambika urges her to find a way. Tammy agrees, determined to ruin the upcoming rituals, pleasing Ambika.
Back at the venue, Shlok requests UV to stay until vidaai, but UV prioritises his café. Suddenly, a few cops arrive. UV is stunned and asks Pratty to let him leave. To his shock, Pratty tells the cops not to allow anyone to leave before vidaai ends. UV fumes at him, but Pratty defends his decision. Shlok, Charu, Naina, and Prerna praise Katha for turning an impossible situation into possible. UV and Katha sit beside each other. UV vents his frustration about the forced marriage while Katha calmly tells him she understands his feelings but has responsibilities to fulfil.
Precap: Katha and UV reach Jindal’s house. Following Chandrika’s instructions, Katha performs grahpravesh and gets hurt. UV saves her from falling but taunts her. Chandrika commands Katha, leaving her upset.
