The Episode starts with UV witnessing Chandrika and Eshwar insulting his mother. Unable to tolerate their words, he shouts at them to stop immediately. He warns them not to speak a single word against her. Eshwar coldly claims that UV’s mother doesn’t love him, but UV fires back angrily, insisting he knows his mother’s love and that no one has the right to question it. Chandrika joins in, comparing Katha to UV’s mother and issuing commands in a controlling manner. UV stands firm, demanding that they stop criticizing his mother and refrain from comparing her with Katha. He boldly tells Eshwar that when his mother returns, the family will finally understand the truth behind her departure.
Katha steps in, pleading with Eshwar to respect UV’s belief in his mother, but Eshwar warns her not to interfere. UV also warns Katha before leaving the room.
Afterward, Eshwar imposes a strict rule on Katha, instructing her not to step outside for work. According to him, men are meant to work outside while women in the house must focus on family duties. Katha attempts to challenge this decision, but Eshwar remains rigid. He advises her not to encourage other women in the house and to focus solely on the responsibilities expected of her as a daughter-in-law. Katha feels deeply hurt by his words.
Once Eshwar departs, Chandrika scolds Katha, accusing her of pretending to be a good daughter-in-law. She claims that Katha failed to follow all the instructions to properly care for the family and criticizes Mohan and Vandana for not raising her well. Standing her ground, Katha firmly tells Chandrika not to speak against her uncle and aunt. She admits her mistake and expresses willingness to accept any punishment. Chandrika orders Katha to handle all arrangements for the upcoming Janmashtami puja alone, despite Shikha questioning how she could manage everything herself. Chandrika refuses to listen, insisting Katha complete the preparations perfectly. Katha silently accepts the task and leaves. Ambika watches the situation unfold, clearly pleased with the outcome.
Katha then visits Naina’s room, where Naina is worried to see her distressed. Katha vents her frustration, blaming UV for the way things have turned out. Tammy suddenly appears with Pari and Ash, taunting Katha for supposedly ruining UV’s work. Tammy claims to be UV’s special friend, prompting Katha to boldly ask her what right she has over UV. Tammy is left speechless. Pari and Ash chime in, reminding Katha that they are also daughters of the family, even though they cannot pursue careers outside the home. After asserting their dominance, they leave.
Naina advises Katha that Tammy is merely taking advantage of UV’s unawareness of her feelings, and their closeness is affecting Katha emotionally. Katha refuses to accept this and heads straight to confront UV about humiliating her. At that moment, UV is on a call with an investor but is forced to cut it short as Katha barges in, demanding answers. The confrontation escalates into a heated argument, with both accusing each other. The episode ends dramatically with UV pinning Katha against the wall, declaring firmly that there is no relationship between them.
