The Episode starts with Katha praying to God for support before trying to draw people’s attention to her stall. Two men sample her tea, praise its taste, and buy from her, leaving Katha delighted.
At the Independence Day fair, UV arrives and checks in with his friends, upset that no one is visiting their stall. Sandy explains that competition has increased and points to another stall drawing huge crowds. UV tries to see who owns it but can’t, though he hears they’re serving herbal drinks. Frustrated, he mutters that both “ghobar devi” and herbal drinks seem determined to ruin him.
Just then, Aarya arrives and invites UV to try a herbal drink from that same stall. UV agrees—only to be shocked when Katha turns around holding the drink. Katha is equally
UV lashes out, accusing Katha of tarnishing the Jindal family’s name by selling tea on the street. He orders her to shut the stall, but she refuses, questioning what right he has over her. Enraged, UV tries to disperse the crowd, but Katha stops him, offering to make them fresh drinks. Aarya supports Katha, but UV warns her to stay out of it. He then forcibly drags Katha to his car. Tammy watches the clash, pleased, believing this will make Eshwar dislike Katha.
Katha refuses to get in, reminding UV that he vowed to end their marriage within six months, so he has no right to control her choices. UV, seething, forces her into the car and drives away. From a distance, Tejas witnesses the scene and discovers UV and Katha are married. Holding a grudge, he vows to create trouble for them in retaliation for their past actions against him.
Back at the Jindal house, Eshwar discusses plans for the Janmashtami puja before asking where Katha is. UV arrives with her, and the family reacts angrily to his rough behavior. UV reveals that Katha was selling herbal drinks at the fair, shocking everyone. Chandrika seizes the opportunity to criticize Eshwar for making another poor decision. UV taunts Eshwar for not reprimanding Katha, reminding him of the suffering his mother endured years ago. Katha is stunned by the comment.
Eshwar demands to know if UV is telling the truth, and Katha confirms it. Eshwar, furious, asks why she acted without consulting him when he is there to support her. Harshvardan also questions her. Katha calmly explains that while she has everything at home, she wants to be an independent woman, which is why she started the business. She expresses her confusion over their extreme reaction.
UV tells her she hasn’t done anything wrong, but warns that Eshwar despises women in the family working outside. Eshwar agrees, citing UV’s mother as an example—claiming she abandoned her husband and son for money and freedom. UV, angered, warns Eshwar not to insult his mother, but Eshwar retorts that the truth is always bitter.
Precap: During the Janmashtami puja, UV feels the absence of his mother. Eshwar declares he will never forgive her for the pain she caused UV. Katha is then seen bringing UV’s mother into the Jindal house.
