The Episode starts with the Jindal family bustling with preparations for Rakshabandhan. Naina offers to help Ambika and Chandrika, but they politely refuse, reminding her she’s a guest. Though they speak gently, their distance leaves Naina feeling hurt.
Meanwhile, Eshwar grows restless when he notices UV is missing. He asks Rukmini to begin the Rakshabandhan puja and openly criticises UV’s absence. Just then, UV walks in, accusing Katha of turning Eshwar against him. Shaking off the tension, he announces that he’ll celebrate Rakshabandhan with his cousins. His cheerfulness catches Katha’s eye, and she silently reflects on how she still owes him for supporting her family in difficult times.
The rituals begin with Shikha tying rakhi to her brothers. UV, Pratty, and Omi then sit together so Pari and Ash can tie rakhis to them. But Chandrika deliberately separates Pratty and Omi from UV and urges Katha to sit next to him, saying they should perform the ritual together. UV refuses, calling Katha a guest, prompting Eshwar to warn him. Ready to walk away, UV is stopped by Pari and Ash, who convince him to stay. Reluctantly, he agrees, and the ceremony goes on.
Later, UV heads to his room with his cousins and friends, only to find it filled with potted plants brought in by Katha. Irritated, he orders his cousins to get rid of them, but they refuse, fearing the elders’ disapproval. His annoyance deepens when Katha enters with his tea. He lashes out, accusing her of crowding his space with plants. She stops him from knocking one over, calling them her “relatives,” and explains that it was Shlok who put them there without her knowledge. UV grumbles that Shlok has joined the “elders’ gang” against him.
Moments later, Katha starts mixing something into his tea—an act both UV and Tammy notice. Tammy seizes the chance to poison UV’s mind, suggesting Katha might literally be poisoning him. Alarmed and angry, UV calls Katha back in front of everyone. Without letting her explain, he accuses her of trying to murder him and even orders Pratty to arrest her. Pratty refuses, saying it’s not that simple, while Omi tries to take the bottle from Katha, only for UV to stop him, calling it “evidence.” Tammy urges that the elders be called, but Pratty and Omi stop Pari and Ash from doing so. UV sides with Tammy, claiming the family should know Katha’s “true colours.”
Hurt beyond words, Katha takes the cup and drinks the tea herself, declaring that if it’s poisoned, she’ll die. She then reveals the truth—it was just Neem juice. Turning to Tammy, Katha calls out her scheming ways and exposes her conspiracies, before telling UV how disappointed she is in him. She walks away, leaving a tense silence behind.
UV then confronts Tammy. She tries to lie her way out, but Pratty warns her to stop. Tammy, however, admits she despises Katha. UV scolds her, saying her petty actions will only earn Katha sympathy in the family. He adds that he never expected her to stoop this low. Tammy, fuming, vows not to spare Katha.
Elsewhere, Katha wipes her tears and steels herself—she will change UV and his cousins’ opinion about her, no matter how long it takes.
Precap: Katha is seen selling herbal drinks in the market. UV spots her, takes her home, and informs Eshwar. Eshwar sternly tells Katha never to repeat this, leaving her sad and turning to God in prayer.
