Shivaay POV:
I woke up to find myself in an unknown room. Hmm… where am I? Suddenly, the door opened and a beautiful girl came in. Oh wait! Is she the same girl who was dancing in the club yesterday? I guess… yeah. I would have probably fainted and she would have brought me here.

“Good morning!” the girl greeted me with a beautiful smile. She was wearing a backless blue dress showing her bare back. Oh, god! She is so beautiful! How much I wish to kiss the hell out of her! Wait Shivaay! What are you thinking?! Don’t forget that you have a wife!

“Good morning…” I greeted her back.

“I am Anika.” She introduced herself.

Anika, such a beautiful name….

“Nice to meet you. I am Shivaay. Btw, thanks for bringing me here…” I thanked her.

“It’s ok. Btw, it seems like you have gone through a lot of pain… I mean you were so drunk yesterday,” She said.

I just nodded.

She sat right next to me and then said, “If you want, you can tell me the reason of your pain?”

I looked at her shockingly. I just met her and she is expecting me to tell her about my life?

Anika POV…
He looked at me shockingly when I asked him to share his pain. Oops. I guess asked the wrong question….

“Uh… I mean… I also have gone through a lot of pain… so I can understand your pain as well…” I came with a really stupid excuse.

“Oh… what kind of pain have you gone through?” He asked.

Oh no! Now, I have to come up with a really sad story….. Think Anika! Think!

“Actually few years ago…. I was married to someone but the person I was married to didn’t love me. In fact, he didn’t even wanted to see my face!” I made up a fake story.

“He just married me for his family,” I continued, “He was from high-class while I was from low-class. He was very smart while I was illiterate. He was embarrassed to take me to the parties or to introduce me as his wife in front of anyone. And one day… he left me…. He just left me….”

Unknowingly, a drop of tear fell from my eyes. I felt somewhat connected to this story, although I knew it was totally fake and made up by me only. I looked up to see Shivaay having tears in his eyes. His face showed something: like guilt. But why would he be guilty?

“Shivaay, are you ok?” I asked him.

“I realized my mistake…” a soft whisper came out from his mouth. He looked at me and then stood up.

“OMG! What did I do?” He screamed.

I got shocked. Why is he behaving like this? I stood up.

“What happened? What did you do?” I asked confusingly.

And then he hugged me suddenly. What’s wrong with this guy? Is he mentally-disabled or something?

“Thank you so much.” He said happily. “Thank you so much for making me realize my mistake. I need to go and apologize to her.”

“Where do you need to go? And who do you need to apologize?” I asked. Oh god! This guy is making me go nuts!

“To my WIFE!” He said loudly.

I felt a sudden pain in my heart.

“Anika…. I have a wife… I married her for my dadi’s sake. But I never liked her. She didn’t know anything… she was illiterate just like you said you were before. Therefore, I didn’t like to take her out or even talk to her….” Shivaay said putting his hands on my shoulder, “I used to scream at her, blame her for things she had never done, not even knowing what pain she is going through…. But today you made me realize it. I feel so guilty… I need to apologize to her… I need to go… I need to go now!”

Shivaay started to go, when I asked him with a heavy heart, “Where are you going?”

“India!” He said and then went slamming the door on my face.

He went… He went to India… to his wife…. I felt anger rising inside my body. I slammed the vase next to me in the mirror! NO! HE CAN’T LEAVE ME! WHAT ABOUT MY CHALLENGE?! HE HAS TO PROPOSE ME! HE CAN’T LEAVE! HE CAN’T…..

Suddenly, the door opened. I composed myself. It was Shivaay.

My heart jumped in happiness by seeing him.

“Hey, can you come to India with me?” He asked.

What?! Why does he want me to go with him?!

“Actually… I am going to India after two years…. Not only that… I am going to meet my family after two years…. Therefore, I need someone’s support. And I don’t know why, when you are next to me, I feel relaxed and calm… can you please accompany me? He asked.

Hmmm… I need to complete my challenge. I think I should go…

“Sure.” I answered with a smile.

“Great! See you in half an hour!” He said and then left.

I turned and saw the calendar. Six days left for the challenge. Let’s see what India has for me….. I smirked.
