Just like that, we became shrenal — chapter 2

surbhi came downstairs dressed in a teal blue lehenga holding her five year old daughter naira’s hand.

surbhi: shrenu? shrenu, where are you…..

her eye caught the letter and she picked it up seeing it was shrenu’s handwriting and the letter was addressed to kunal jaisingh.

now before you decide to throw shoes at surbhi for supporting bharati marrying kj, no she isn’t. she hates bharati to hell. she is going to the wedding mainly to try and stop it and food-unless bharati made the food then she wouldn’t want food poisoning. 

just saying!

so anyway surbhi picked the envelop up and opened it carefully.

surbhi: dear kunal, tears are rolling down my cheeks as I write this.

she continues reading the letter when shrenu wrote that she was pregnant with kunal’s child, she became shocked.

surbhi: shrenu… preg….pregnant?

naira: what happen mummy?

surbhi: nothing naira. do one thing, go to dadu ok?

naira: ok.

she runs to her dadu who was waiting outside.

surbhi: and then two days kunal slapped her even though she was pregnant and she was staying here because her parents disowned her. kunal jaisingh, shrenu and your child need you so I will make sure that today you won’t marry bharati.

she goes outside and in the car driving as fast as she could so she could reach the wedding venue.

meanwhile:

kunal was waiting for bharati though he wasn’t wearing a smile at all even thinking about her. but everytime someone passed him, he smiled. 

he had no idea why he was feeling this way. it was as if two days ago, he realized something strong. something you can only experience with the right person. 

kunal in mind: I don’t know what I am feeling but since I slapped shrenu, I feel guilt and something else. but what is it? what is it that I haven’t felt with bharati but I am feeling it with shrenu?

bharati entered the wedding venue looking old as possible (hehehehe)

both bharati and kunal were called to go on the mandap but as soon as both sat on the mandap, a voice was heard.

voice: STOP THIS WEDDING!!

that voice belonged to surbhi. all looked at her as she entered.

bharati in mind: curse you surbhi! this was about to be perfect if you hadn’t came.

surbhi: kunal, you cannot marry this b*t*h!

kunal: matlab?

bharati: surbhi, stay out of it! this is my wedding with kunal so back off!

surbhi: kunal, you are going to be a father.

all was shocked. especially shocked jaisingh.

surbhi: and the mother is no other than shrenu.

‘shrenu’ echoed in the hall. 

surbhi: read this letter!

she tosses the letter at kunal and kunal read it slowly and slowly. he looked at bharati with a death glare. bharati who was scared as f**k yelled: rohan! where are you?!

rohan a.k.a bharati’s boyfriend as in real boyfriend came and said: what happened?

kunal: i’ll tell you. you are bharati’s boyfriend and you bharati kumar are nothing but a fraud! a gold digger! want my fandom? want my fame? want my money? GO TO f**kING HELL!

surbhi: KUNAL JAISINGH! I STILL HAVE MANY THINGS AGAINST YOU! FIRST MY BEST FRIEND SHRENU HAS LEFT INDIA WITH YOUR CHILD GROWING INSIDE HER WOMB AND NONE OF US f**kING KNOW WHERE SHE IS GOING! SECOND, WHEN YOU SLAPPED HER, YOU DIDN’T LET HER COMPLETE WHAT SHE WAS SAYING, YOU THOUGHT SHE WAS TRYING TO CREATE f**kING DIFFERENCES BETWEEN YOU AND THAT b*t*h WHEN ACTUALLY IT WAS THAT b*t*h TRYING TO CREAT DIFFERENCES BETWEEN YOU AND SHRENU! THIRD, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NOW?!

Kunal: to bring back shrenu. 

Surbhi: HOW? KAISE? WE DON’T EVEN KNOW WHERE SHE IS HEADING TO!!! DID YOUR STUPID BRAIN THOUGHT OF THAT?!? 

Bharati: let’s forget about that b*t*h shrenu. We all know that she isn’t pregnant with kunal’s child and let alone pregnant all together. And also she is a sl*t.

A slap landed on her ugly face. That slap was given by no other than kunal.

Kunal: ONE WORD ABOUT MY SHRENU AND MY CHILD! I WILL KILL YOU!!! RIGHT HERE ON THIS SPOT!!!

Surbhi: anyway kunal, when did you and shrenu did it?

Kunal tried to remember as black and grey flashes came in his head. He was drunk at that time so his memory not that clear.

All of a sudden he remembered when he pinned shrenu against the wall and started to leave a trail of kisses on her neck, biting her earlobe.

Kunal: tw…two weeks ago.

Surbhi: I don’t know what is going to happen but I want my best friend back!!!!!

Kunal saw shrenu in front of him, then behind him. He finally realised.

Kunal: bharati, I don’t love you. I love shrenu.

The I love shrenu echoed in the room. 

Kunal: and I want to spend my life with her.

Surbhi: thanks god buddhu, you realised. But where can she be?

Kunal thought and a fb came back to him.

Fb:

Kunal: shrenu, what are you looking at?

Shrenu: nyc.

Kunal: why’s that?

Shrenu: because one day I want to go there, see it is soooo beautiful and it’s an amazing city. One day I will go there.

Fb ends.

Kunal: nyc.

Surbhi: New York City, how do you know?

Kunal: she told me once that she would go there one day. If there is anywhere in this world she would be, then it is nyc.
