Juhi Parmar on spending time with her family after a hectic year

Juhi Parmar’s TV show Hamari Wali Good News is going off-air by the end of next week. This does not upset the actress as she considers it as a beautiful journey, which gave her the opportunity to play two diverse characters. In an interview with BT she talks about it and shares, “I have been a part of many progressive shows from Shaheen to Kumkum and now Hamari Wali Good News. These stories break a lot of taboos in our society and if it inspired people, I am happy.”

Talking about the challenges involved in working in the pandemic, she shares, “It was like a double-edged sword. On the one hand, I was happy to work rather than be caged at home, and on the other hand, I was nervous about getting infected and bringing the virus home. After a hectic one year, I am happy to have some time to spend with my daughter and family,”

When asked about how she balances home and work, she says, “I used to come home feeling guilty because at times I would leave when my daughter was starting school and come back by the time she was asleep. I also spent two months away from her while we were shooting out of Mumbai. It has not been easy and probably one of the most challenging parts of my journey as a mother. Sometimes, I feel she’s growing up too fast, but I know she’s proud of me and that makes it all worth it.”
