Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya welcomed their newborn daughter on September 20, and recently, the couple joyously celebrated her naamkaran ceremony in the presence of close friends and family. The couple chose the endearing name Navya for their little one. Dressed in a vibrant silk orange and pink sari, Disha exuded grace, while Rahul opted for a dapper sherwani for the occasion. Their adorable daughter was adorned in a pink frock accompanied by a matching headband.
Reflecting on the process of choosing their daughter’s name, Disha shared, “From the very beginning, we were contemplating names for a girl. Despite the possibility of having a boy, we hadn’t finalized a name for him. However, when we laid eyes on our baby girl, the certainty and joy overwhelmed us, and we knew she had to be called Navya. We are delighted to share this special name with everyone. For Rahul and me, Navya felt like the perfect fit the moment we saw her. It holds the beautiful meaning of being praiseworthy.”
The couple also marked the festival of Diwali with their newborn, making the occasion even more memorable. Rahul expressed his joy, stating, “Our baby arrived during Ganeshotsav, and now we’ve celebrated another festival with her. Every moment becomes more meaningful with her by our side. Disha adorned her in a charming peach frock, and she wore her first set of jewelry, a gift from her grandparents. During the aarti, our little one, while gazing at the thali and diya, showed a keen interest in understanding her surroundings. We are grateful to God for this precious gift.”
Celebrating her birthday on November 11, just a day before Diwali, Disha shared, “This year, my birthday was a bit low-key due to the demands of being a new mom. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the day and Diwali with my baby. We captured moments together, creating cherished memories.”
