There are some jodis we see on screen which mark their names in gold. People remember them over the years and one such jodi is of Supriya Pilgaonkar and Mahesh Thakur which we saw in insanely popular sitcom, Tu Tu Main Main. While we may not have the best sitcoms to enjoy in these days, we did some of the best in earlier times. And this show was the best of banters of every saas bahu beautifully woven into a story with humor as a cherry on top.
In the show, Thakur and Pilgaonkar played husband and wife and apart from the saas-bahu pairing, this husband wife pairing was loved too. And now after two long decades, this duo is all set to reunite on screen.
Yes. That’s right! Thakur and Pilgaonkar are coming back on-screen after all this time in Ishara’s upcoming show called Janani. The show is all set to be one of the first shows for the soon-to-be launching channel and will see this iconic duo come back on-screen.
A source close to the show mentioned how Pilgaonkar is really excited to be reuniting with Thakur after all this year’s and cannot wait to work with him again.
Interestingly, the duo did work together in Sasural Genda Phool but weren’t paired opposite each other.
The show is set to produced by Hats Off Productions and Ishara, as a channel is also set to be launching soon.
