Scene 1
Jodha comes to Resham in jail, she is angry on him and says to him that I never did bad to you, I always supported you, on your insistence I went against Jalal and helped Maham anga in her last days, I didn’t know you have so venom in you, I didn’t know you will do this with my son, Resham says I don’t repent fro my mistakes, I am loyal to Maham and I am proud of that, I was Maham’s servant not Mughal sultant’s, If I get chance then I will attack again, Jodha says Reshaaaaam, she slaps him hard, Ruks is there too, Jodha says to Resham that its enough, i used to forgive every betrayer fo good of Mughal sultanat but not anymore, today a mother is standing infront of you, and i wont let you harm my child, Ruks is shocked to see Jodha’s furious side., if anyone treis to look at my son with evil eyes then I will not tolerate that, ruks thinks that this matter is going out of hand, what is Reshma blurts out my name, Jodha leaves from there, Reshma cries, Ruks comes to Resham, Resham says I am seeing fear in your eyes, Ruks ask what fear? Resham says the fear of if the truth comes out in open that you gave opium to Salim not me, what you thought that I didn’t know about it? but I didn’t tell anyone because I thought that after my death there will someone who will take Maham’s mission forward but now I am thinking to blurt out this truth as there will be huge ruckus in Saltanat then, Ruks says do you think that they will believe you, Resham says maybe not but atleast doubt will be created in minds, doubt can destroy every relation, Ruks says you will say truth when you will be able to open your tongue, she takes out some medicine bottle, Resham says no pardon me, I was just joking, I will not say anything, I didn’t tell anyone about it before, Ruks says what if you open your mouth now, I cant take the risk, I have to shut your tongue, Ruks forcefully makes resham drink poison, Resham falls. Ruks sys now you wont be able to say anything.

Scene 2
Jodha ask Jalal to sleep, Jalal says I am not sleepy, I am thinking to make SAlim learn war training from todar and Maan, Jodha says he is just a kid, Jalal says he is not a normal kid, its not easy to be king, he has to learn things, Jodha says have you ever seen fish making her child learn swimming? no, kids leanr from their parents, same way Salim will leanr things under your guidance, Jalal says I think I should make Salim away from me, Jodha says why he is learning things from you, Jalal says exactly, I don’t want to be under my influence as it will create hurdle in his success, he is getting everything royally, he can ask for anything in need but if gets addicted to It then its wrong, he can learn sword fighting from me but he has to become more good sword fighter than me, he can hurt me In sword fighting, that is acceptable but if someone else hurt him then its not acceptable, Jodha says he will be like what you want but it will take time, fruits grow on tree on their time only, you will not get anything before time, Jalal says but I got you before time, he caresses her head and hug her, Jodha smiles.
Salim is archery in room only, he breaks vase, Moti says don’t do it here, go in garden and practice there, Salim says I am heir I can do whatever I want, Moti says yes but your mother is Marium Zamani and she has ordered that you get ready and go to her, Salim says I don’t wanna go anywhere, just leave me alone, Moti says why you are so much angry with her? she is a very nice mother, she cooks for you, sings lullaby for you, how can you be angry with such sweet mother, Salim shouts on her and throws glass on her face, Moti’s head bleeds, jodha comes there and see this, she shouts Salim, she ask what you did Salim, you raised hand on Moti, Salim says will you punish me for this too? will go complain to Jalal? go and do it, I am not afraid of him. he leaves. Moti ask Jodha to leave him, he is just a kid, Jodha says he is kid then he can do anything? I have to punish him fro this, Moti says he is not able to accept his earlier punishment, if you punish him now then he will be more bitter to you, don’t tell this to Jalal, with time, Salim will learn everything, Jodha says what to do, Salim’s attitude is going bad day by day, she says to Moti that I will apply cream on your wound.

Scene 3
Salim comes to Ruks crying, he says I don’t like Marium Zamani, I will not go to her, Ruks ask what happened? Salim says I was playing and in that I mistakenly hurt Moti bai, So marium Zamani scolded me, she and Jalal just scold me, why don’t they love me like you, now she will complain to Jalal, Ruks says I know what jodha did was wrong, who I smote bai? she is just a servant and you are heir, you can do anything with servants, Jodha has given more importance to bandhi than her son, don’t worry, and stop crying, Salim says what if jodha tells this to Jalal, he will give me punishment again, he will send me away again, Ruks says nothing will happen, I am with you, I will handle everything, she hugs him and smirks.
Jodha is in garden area, Jalal comes there, they smile at each other, Jodah gives aarti to Jalal, Jalal listens some music and says seems like tansen is doing practice, jodha says we should go and listen to bhajans, Jalal says lets go there.
They come to terrace and are stunned to see Mehtab playing the instrument, Jalal says to Jodha that look at god’s miracle, she can even listen but plays instrument so nicely, she didn’t even get training in it, he calls tansen and ask how can she play instrument when she cant listen? Tansen says she is very quick in learning, she learns what she sees, she saw me playing instrument and picked it how to play it, she has learned from jst seeing, Jalal says that I request you train her in music, Tansen agrees.

Scene 5
Jalal is getting ready when Ruks comes there and says I want to talk to you, Jalal ask what? Ruks says to Jalal that don’t be angry on Salim, I know he did mistake and you will punish him but he is just a kid, Jalal ask what are you saying? what mistake did he do? ruks says what? jodah didn’t tell you about it? I am leaving, jalal stops her and ask what jodah didn’t tell me? tell me what happened, Ruks says actually Salim had hurt Moti bai by mistake, I thought Jodha will tell you about this, I shouldn’t have talk to you about this when Jodha didn’t tell you, what I mean to say is that don’t punish Salim, he is just a child, Jalal angrily leaves from there, ruks thinks my work is done, now Jalal’s anger will do the work.
Jodha says to Moti that Kahna is looking beautiful today, Jalal comes there and ask Moti how you got hurt on head? Moti says I slipped in garden, Jalal says then why I am thinking that someone has thrown something on your face, hiding mistakes of prince is not good thing, you are like aunt to Salim, you should understand that, you can leave, she leaves, Jalal says to Jodah that I know you love SAlim a lot but hiding his mistakes is not good, you are spoiling him, you decided to not tell me this, that’s fine but when Moti was lying to me, you were all silent, when will you understand that Salim is heir, Ruks told me everything, today Salim hurt Moti, what if he hurts common people in future, Jodha says I scolded Salim but you know what he told me? he says said that you will go to jalal and he will punish me, Salim couldn’t accept his earlier mistake so I didn’t tell you as you will punish him, Moti is like aunt to him that’s why she was silent too, Jalal says so what will I do wrong? if he doesn’t understand by love then we have to strict with him, he hurt Moti, was rude to you what he will do in future? I will punish him, Jodha says this is not the way to solve things, Jalal says I have to punish heir for his mistakes, I will punish him, he ask Dasi to call Salim. Jodha is tensed.

PRECAP- Salim is lying unconscious in garden, Jalal and Jodha comes there and ask Salim to get up, Jalal ask to call doctor, Jodha angrily looks at Jalal.
