PART 4
Hello everyone… I don’t know if anyone missed me but I missed u all. I was a little busy and could not get time to write.
So seeing the response for the previous parts I feel that I am atleast performing better than what Congress did in UP … ( Ny Congressian out here ?? It’s just for fun to dil pe mat lena).

Another thing, I feel that IshJoy became more popular than Devakshi & many of you would want to see them often but the story isn’t about them. Writing too much about them will not be good for my nanhi si jaan because too much of Ishwari can harm your digestion & give u constipated looks like hers. Still seeing the APAR SAFLTA OF ISHU & HER BIJU they will keep on poping in between. Hope you will like the story further & continue loving it & keep commenting

It was midnight & Sona had gone to the kitchen to drink water when she noticed that the light of Asha’s room was still on.
Sona : Maa .. You’re still up?
Asha : Sona .. aao na .. I’m just filling up some forms there are some vacancies of a teacher’s job out I’m filling them. You’ve finished your studies?
Sona: You’re interview today didn’t work out ?
Asha: No… but you don’t worry. I’ll get a job somewhere
Sona: Why don’t you continue writing that book. You’ll get famous and that is your passion why don’t you follow it?
Asha: Beggars can’t be choosers. Your Masi & Mesho have done a lot for us. Had it not been for them do you think we would be out of that hell? Sona .. I agreed to take help from them because I had no other way to get us out of that house. When your father was alive things were different but now we may be living in a good house, you are going to the best school of Delhi but I have not earned it … Sona…. Sona are you listening?

Sona was lost in her thoughts. Her face turned pale. She was trying to fight tears that were coming in her eyes while her mind was running scenes from her past.

FLASHBACK
Asha: Sona … stay her … I’ll just come back…
Sona was hiding under a table from where she could hear violent noises. Smashing of chairs, people shouting. For once, she felt that she heard Asha cry in pain but she was told not to stir and she lay there hiding. For how long she didn’t knew. In all the voices she could here she only understood one thing & that was Asha saying “Why are you doing this? If you can’t spare me spare my Sona atleast.. for God’s sake … She is your own blood.”
The next thing that Sona remembers is a loud scream … She heard Asha shout.
Sona remembered the moisture in her eyes then & she could still feel that same moisture coming back in her eyes.

Asha sensed what Sona was going through & she shook her to bring her back to the present
Asha: Sona … Sona I’m sorry baccha … I didn’t want to disturb you. Sona please snap out of it….
Sona: It’s ok maa … I’m very brave … I can fight
Asha: You don’t have to I won’t let you face it again. Accha now wipe your tears….. Coffee ?
Asha & Sona are next seen in the kitchen where Asha is making coffee and Sona is sitting on the slab

Asha: Here take your coffee
Sona drank her cold coffee but the cream of the coffee was a naughty mood & it made a moustache on her face. Asha laughed heartily at the site and seeing Asha laugh Sona’s fears vanished. I had read somewhere that first love is true because you love your mom since the time you saw her. Sona & Asha completely proved it. Asha is not just Sona’s mom but a friend, confidant. Sona & Asha’s world start & end at each other.
Asha: So how’s school ?
Sona: White

Asha : & the bus?
Sona: Yellow & there is a dirty fellow in it too
Asha: Teachers?
Sona: Fab
Asha: Made new friends?
Sona felt like telling Asha that no talked to her except Jatin and those two girls in the bus but decided against it.
Sona: There is no one of my standard
Asha: Why do you take so much time in making friends Sona. If no one speaks to you speak to them you take the initiative
Sona: How do you know?

Asha: I am your mom … I’ve kept u inside me for 9 months
Sona: Correction 7.5 months & don’t start with those cliché dialogues again
Asha: Mai cliché ho gyi ( I am cliché for you now)
Sona: Na na you are the youngest elderly person I know..
& saying so Sona ran towards her room. Asha chased her but Sona closed the door.
Sona( from the other side) : I love you Asha
Asha : Love you too meri amma.. Now continue with your studies.
Sona turned to her father’s portrait “Dekha Papa, Your Sona will never let your Asha cry.”

Sona took out her Maths book from her bag,picked her phone and inserted her ear phones. She switched on the radio
