The Episode starts with Janki telling Gangadhar that don’t know what days Manu will show to them, just after the marriage she is accusing everyone. Gangadhar asks Manu to come with him. Laccho Bai talks to Saku Bai and says if you get any bundels’ jewellery then keep it in the locker else you might be exposed. Saku Bai looks angrily at her. Laccho Bai asks her to rest and goes. Saku Bai thinks seems like she got something and playing some game with us, I need to be careful. Janki is laughing madly. Laccho Bai is shocked and asks are you fine, sit down. Janki continues laugh. Laccho Bai says did you get laughter attack or you have cocaine. Janki says what will happen with Manu now and says before enjoying the marital bliss, she will bear his ignorance and scolding on the first day itself. Laccho feels
Gangadhar scolds Manu for accusing his family and says you have accused my family on first day itself. I don’t think you can handle my kataar and asks her to give it back. Manu returns his kataar. He asks if this is your first work after marriage. Manu says she tried to know about the culprit for the safety of Jhansi and him, and tells that very soon she will find out about the person who helped bundels entered Jhansi. She says if this had happened in Jhansi then also I would have done the same thing. She asks where shall I sleep on bed, left or right side. Dasi hears them and go to inform Janki. Janki asks did Maharaj kick Manu out. Dasi says they are not angry and asks her to sleep. Saku bai asks Dasi to apply ointment fast. Dasi says if I apply fully then you will feel pain. Saku bai applies ointment and asks Dasi to go. Dasi goes. She forwards her hand and takes out the snake. She says she herself is poisonous and nobody could be spared of her.
Gangadhar thinks of Manu’s words that whatever she did was to safeguard her husband and Jhansi. He thinks she is a riddle to him and sleeps on couch. Next morning, Manu wears heavy clothes and thinks this is very heavy. Gangadhar says you have to wear it as you are Maharani. He asks her to get habitual to it and asks do you really trust me, like your father said. She says yes, as my baba said and I trust him fully.
Gangadhar says it is good that you know and says I wwill make you know of royal duties, and asks her not to raise voice against his wish and keep his prestige in mind, as his respect is hers now. She says you will not go out to save anyone without permission, and says you will go with Dasis and with the announcement of going and coming. Manu smiles shockingly. He says you will use Palanquin to go out, and says you can fulfill your hobbies and do horse riding and sword practice, within limits. She thinks how she will follow such strict rules. Gangadhar asks her to come. Dasis are holding curtain stand while Manu is coming. She remembers Peshwa’s words. Announcement is made, Gangadhar comes followed by Manu. She looks at Moropant from the stand. Manu sits on her chair. Laccho Bai thinks both are upset. Janki thinks Manu’s destiny is good, but not for long. Laccho bai says Saku bai might be crying for not getting the singhasan. Gangadhar asks Manu to say what she wants to do on the first day. Manu says if you permit me then I would like to honour all the ladies who fought with bundels and protected Jhansi. Janki says do you want to honour widows. Gangadhar says not Manikarnika, she is Rani Lakshmi bai and requests her to call her Rani Lakshmi Bai.
Precap: Ross comes to Palace and greets Gangadhar. Manu tells Gangadhar that if he doesn’t think that britishers shall respect her as well. Gangadhar says she deserves the same respect as me. Ross is forced to bend down infront of her.
