The Episode starts with Jhanak asserting herself in front of the police inspector, defending her husband Rishi. She explains that Rishi is an honest officer and there is no reason for him to harm his wife. Aditi, shocked by Jhanak’s words, questions her, but Jhanak calmly insists that just as she did not interrupt Aditi earlier, Aditi should refrain from interfering now. The inspector brings up the rumor that Rishi’s family is sending Jhanak back to her village. Jhanak clarifies that it’s a misunderstanding and that she is going to her village only to appear for her exams.
When asked about the accident, Jhanak admits that she is not used to city traffic and that’s how it happened. She adds that she is grateful the accident involved Rishi’s car because he admitted her to the hospital and took care of her, showing his dedication as a husband. Aditi protests, but Rishi remains silent, unsure how to respond. Aditi reminds the inspector that she intends to marry Rishi, highlighting Jhanak’s earlier claim that the marriage was invalid. Jhanak explains that she was forced into the marriage initially, which is why she had said so before, but now she has accepted Rishi as her husband and is living in his house. She pleads with the inspector not to hold Rishi responsible. The police inspector, satisfied with her clarification, declares the matter resolved and instructs Rishi to resume duty the next day.
Later, Jhanak reflects on her mother’s memories and breaks down in tears. She writes a heartfelt letter, leaves it on a table, and quietly exits Rishi’s house, believing she has no other choice. Meanwhile, Aditi contemplates Jhanak’s words and wonders why Rishi kept things from her. Arshi presses Aditi for answers, while Aniruddh inquires about the situation at Rishi’s house. Aditi recounts what Jhanak revealed to the inspector. Aniruddh worries that history may be repeating itself, noting the similarity between the sisters’ experiences. Arshi expresses concern that Jhanak may remain in Rishi’s house indefinitely and decides to intervene, but Aditi urges her to refrain, as it goes against Rishi’s wishes. Arshi vows to cancel her own plans and leaves.
The next morning, Dadabhai questions Rishi about the ongoing troubles he’s facing, and Rishi mentions friction with his senior officer. Putul points out that Jhanak is missing from her room after searching everywhere. Tanushri remarks that Jhanak may be avoiding them after speaking in front of the inspector. Dadabhai asks whether anyone thinks Jhanak acted wrongly in protecting Rishi. Rishi explains that she spoke up to save his career, and in doing so, he has become a part of her life.
