The Episode starts with Rishi bringing a small box wrapped with care — a watch for Jhanak. He smiles and says she’ll need it from now on. Jhanak raises a brow and asks if she won’t be allowed to attend college without a watch. Rishi laughs softly and tells her it’s not about rules — it’s about time, discipline, and respect. But Jhanak steps back and refuses to accept it. She says she doesn’t need such gifts, adding that if anyone sees her wearing something from him, drama will erupt.
Rishi tries to reason, saying the government will honor her soon, and he wants to be there with her. Jhanak looks away, her voice firm yet fragile. “I haven’t changed, Rishi. Maybe it’s your opinion about me that has.” Her words sting him quietly. He admits she surprised him — and that he’s proud
When Jhanak asks him to leave so she can continue her revision, Rishi lingers. He feels disheartened that she rejected his gift. Jhanak explains softly that Aditi or others would misunderstand. If he really wants to give her something, he should first ask Aditi’s permission. Rishi nods but mentions he brought a gift for Mishti too. Jhanak cuts him off, saying he’s Mishti’s brother — and asks, what is he to her now?
Before Rishi can respond, Aditi arrives, her tone sharp as glass. She demands to know what he’s doing there. Rishi replies honestly that he came to give Jhanak a gift. Aditi doesn’t hide her anger. She reminds him that he once married Jhanak — how can he act so casually now? She scolds him for not discussing this with her first. Rishi counters, saying he’s not a child who needs permission.
Sensing tension, Jhanak quickly says she already refused the gift. But Aditi cuts her off rudely, telling her to shut up. Rishi, hurt and frustrated, pushes the gift into Jhanak’s hands anyway and tells her to do whatever she wishes with it. The argument escalates. Rishi defends Jhanak, asking Aditi why she’s so harsh toward her. Jhanak pleads for them to stop fighting because of her.
Aditi then lashes out, blaming Jhanak for creating trouble between her and Rishi. Rishi reveals that he brought Jhanak here himself — and that Aniruddh must accept her wholeheartedly if she’s to stay under his roof. Aditi, now furious, accuses Jhanak of being manipulative, just like Nutan.
That’s when Jhanak’s patience ends. She stands tall and warns Aditi not to speak against Nutan. Her tone burns with loyalty. She reminds Aditi that Nutan once saved her life — and that Aditi should be grateful instead of insulting her. She reminds Aditi that she’s alive because Nutan accepted her when her parents didn’t. Aditi freezes in shock as Jhanak’s words hit her hard.
Rishi, shaken, recalls Nutan’s old words about Aditi’s past. Jhanak doesn’t stop there — she challenges Aditi to ask Aniruddh the truth about his visit to Simulboni and his connection with Nutan. Aditi storms out, silent but shaken.
Elsewhere, Choton and Bablu discuss Aditi’s sudden departure. Arshi, restless, learns Aditi reached Rishi’s house but refuses to take calls. Tension builds as Bablu informs her of everything. Arshi snaps, saying she can’t find peace because of Aniruddh’s family. Aniruddh argues that Nutan only wanted to secure Jhanak’s future. But Choton reminds him bitterly — “You’ve changed, Aniruddh.”
The episode closes on Aditi, lost in thought, replaying every word Jhanak and Anjana said. Doubt begins to creep into her heart — maybe they were telling the truth after all.
