The Episode starts with Rishi advising Jhanak to stay strong and fulfill the dreams she shared with her mother. Jhanak, puzzled by his sudden change in behaviour, questions him, leaving Rishi momentarily speechless. They exchange a long, meaningful glance, both silently reflecting on their feelings and past actions. Jhanak senses that Rishi’s behaviour stems from his guilt over her accident, and Rishi quietly urges her to heed his advice before leaving.
Alone, Jhanak contemplates her situation. Mourning her mother’s death and feeling conflicted about her forced marriage with Rishi, she decides to distance herself from him. Determined, she resolves to leave Rishi’s life entirely and allow him to pursue happiness with Aditi, believing that is the right choice.
Meanwhile, at the police station, Krishnendu manipulates IG and other officers, claiming that Rishi deliberately caused Jhanak’s accident. He argues that Rishi is misusing his power, exploiting Jhanak’s innocence, and planning to send her back to the village where she might be rejected. Two officers defend Rishi, pointing out that the marriage was forced, but Krishnendu insists that a marriage is a marriage, regardless of circumstances. IG becomes frustrated upon learning that the investigation into the accident was halted. He reprimands his team and orders them to interrogate both Rishi and Jhanak separately to uncover the truth. Krishnendu thanks IG while hiding a sly smirk.
Back at Rishi’s house, Aditi speaks to Rishi’s family about her plans to marry him after Jhanak leaves. She questions whether Nutan’s last rites will be held at the house. Dadabhai clarifies that they will take place in the village, and assures that Rishi has taken responsibility for Jhanak’s studies and that arrangements will be made for her hostel stay. Aditi insists that while her father Anirudh, a social worker, will support Jhanak, she does not want her living in the house.
Rishi arrives and questions Aditi about her visit, leading to an argument. She challenges him for taking responsibility for Jhanak, and Rishi defends his actions, explaining he does not want to live with guilt. Jhanak then asserts her independence, declaring she does not need anyone’s help and will return to her village. Putul reminds Rishi of his earlier promise, while Aditi fumes at both him and Jhanak. Jhanak firmly states that no one has the right to make decisions about her life without her consent.
Later, the police arrive to question Rishi about his supposed involvement in Jhanak’s accident. Aditi blames Jhanak and her villagers, accusing her of scheming to remain close to Rishi. When questioned, Jhanak defends Rishi, calling him an honest officer and questioning why anyone would think he would harm his wife. Her words shock the others and enrage Aditi.
Precap: Phool refers to herself as Rishi’s wife, angering Aditi. Meanwhile, Jhanak writes a letter and plans to leave the house without informing anyone.
