The Episode starts with Jhanak showing the yard to the ladies of Rishi’s family, telling them she will place her village deity there as she dreamt of it. She insists they must perform the pooja wholeheartedly. Indumati tells her to do as she wishes. Jhanak explains they need to decorate the deity and prepare prasad. Tanushri asks if Jhanak will do everything herself, and Jhanak questions what they will do then.
Indumati says it’s their first time, so Jhanak should guide them. Payal asks her to tell them everything she needs. Jhanak lists out all the items for pooja and mentions that her deity has chosen their house, so they must keep her happy. She asks them to arrange dhol as well. Payal says she can arrange drums. Jhanak also requests them not to use the kitchen for some time as she will prepare
Elsewhere, Rishi tries to take Arshi’s blessings, but she stops him, saying she doesn’t believe in such things. Arshi asks if he will join them for lunch. Rishi replies that he has to leave for work. Arshi says she thought he had come to meet her. Aditi tells her mother that Rishi’s schedule is tight. Arshi then complains that she visited his house but he wasn’t there and didn’t call her back. She says she wants to discuss something important. Bablu and Anjana leave them alone.
Later, the ladies arrange everything as Jhanak instructed. Tanushri admits to Indumati that she feels scared. Jhanak arrives and asks them to bring the prasad. Tanushri asks if the village deity will stay there permanently. Jhanak questions if they would throw out the idol from their own house temple. Indumati says they won’t. Jhanak asks if they don’t respect her deity because it looks like a stone. Payal explains that they haven’t eaten since morning and are tired. Tanushri suggests they eat first, but Jhanak gets offended and says food will be served only after pooja. She prays to her deity not to be angry with them.
Meanwhile, Arshi asks about Rishi’s educational qualifications. Aditi questions why she wants to know, but Rishi says it’s okay. Arshi asks why he chose this profession, and he replies that he always wanted to be a police officer. Arshi offers to recommend him for promotion, but Rishi refuses, saying he doesn’t need recommendations. He adds that he has to leave and goes.
Back at home, Jhanak starts the pooja. Neighbours join in, and one asks Tanushri why she wasn’t invited. Tanushri explains it was sudden. She distributes prasad to everyone. Indumati asks if the pooja is over, but Jhanak says it’s just beginning. She serves drinks, and everyone starts feeling dizzy after drinking it.
Precap: Aditi apologises to Rishi on Arshi’s behalf. Rishi says he feels Arshi doesn’t like him, and he isn’t happy that she will be his mother-in-law. Meanwhile, Jhanak reads about Parashar in the newspaper.
