Jhanak mentions her plan to return to her village, but Rishi asks her to listen first. He insists that she should attend Nutan’s Shradh and return to Kolkata afterward, assuring her it is what Nutan would have wanted. Jhanak is curious how Rishi knows about Nutan’s wish, and he reveals that he had met Nutan during her illness. When Jhanak asks what Nutan said, Rishi keeps the details to himself, emphasizing the importance of timing and discretion.

Meanwhile, at home, Aditi questions Anirudh about his visit to Rishi’s house to meet Phool. Arshi adds that

Anirudh always seems to oppose them. Anirudh defends his actions, stating it would have been wrong not to check on Phool. Aditi expresses frustration that no one supports Phool except Dadabhai and Putul. Arshi warns that Phool may have practiced black magic and could stay in Rishi’s house indefinitely. Anirudh dismisses her claims as nonsense. The conversation escalates when Bablu accidentally mentions that a village girl returned Aditi to them, shocking her. Anjana intervenes and takes Bablu inside, while Anirudh tells Aditi he does not know the full context, only that he visited Rishi’s house to observe the situation.

Back with Rishi and Jhanak, Rishi acknowledges that she missed the chance to meet Nutan one last time and takes responsibility, blaming his accident for the complications. Jhanak admits she feels unlucky, and Rishi reassures her that it was not her fault. He urges her to focus on her exams and offers to arrange hostel accommodation if she does not want to stay at his house. Surprised by his sudden care, Jhanak asks why he is being considerate, and Rishi explains that he is responding to the situation and hopes she understands his past rudeness. Jhanak empathizes, recognizing the burden he has carried because of her villagers.

Rishi decides to take responsibility for Jhanak’s studies and insists she continues them to fulfill Nutan’s dream. When Jhanak asks about her father, Rishi remains evasive, telling her to wait for the right time to learn the truth. He encourages her to become strong, focus on her goals, and trust in his guidance.
