The Episode starts with Jhanak confidently submitting her name for both the dance and debate competitions. Mishti and her friends also register for the dance performance. When the teacher suggests Mishti include Jhanak in her group, Mishti bluntly refuses, saying her team is already complete. The teacher asks Jhanak to perform solo, but Srishti mocks her, saying that Tilothama was trained by Arshi herself, so Jhanak can’t even stand near her level. The teacher mentions that Arshi will be visiting the college the next day and advises Jhanak not to attempt a city-style dance.
Unfazed, Jhanak promises that she’ll learn and perform the modern dance style. Tilothama laughs and asks if Jhanak knows all dance forms. Aayush steps in, requesting that Jhanak be given a chance to join the group, but Mishti
After class, a senior student asks Jhanak if she’s upset for being excluded from the dance group. Jhanak calmly replies that she’s focusing on the debate and it doesn’t bother her. Mishti sarcastically tells her to try dancing next year. Tilothama ridicules Jhanak further, asking if she even knows what an auditorium is. Before the teasing worsens, the senior student warns everyone to concentrate on their performances.
Jhanak leaves, but Mishti follows her to continue the taunts. She says Jhanak can’t learn dance in a day and should stop thinking she can excel in everything. Jhanak reminds her that she already dropped dance, choosing the debate instead. Mishti retorts that Jhanak won’t do well in that either. Jhanak asks why Mishti cares so much, saying the judges will decide her worth. Tilothama interrupts, asking Jhanak not to talk back. Jhanak firmly replies that she has every right to speak—she’s a student like them. Mishti snaps that talking to Jhanak is useless and accuses her of creating trouble on her first day. Aayush defends Jhanak, saying it’s wrong to insult her and that everyone deserves respect. He wishes Jhanak luck and leaves.
Elsewhere, Indumati tells Aditi they’re planning a surprise for Tanushri, who’s at the temple praying for Aditi and Mishti. Neelu praises Aditi’s good fortune, then takes a jab at Putul, saying she wasn’t lucky with her husband or daughter-in-law. Putul counters sharply, implying Neelu hasn’t done any better. The argument escalates until Dadabhai intervenes, siding with Putul and warning Neelu to stop her accusations.
Soon after, Mishti comes home looking upset. Indumati asks why, and Mishti blames Jhanak for ruining her day. Aditi advises Mishti to ignore Jhanak but promises to take action if Jhanak crosses the line. Dadabhai immediately defends Jhanak, saying he won’t stay silent if anyone mistreats her.
At the same time, Anjana and Bablu discuss the ongoing issues. Bablu says he’s disappointed that Aniruddh could stoop so low against his own daughter. Anjana agrees, calling it shameful. When Aniruddh and Arshi overhear, Bablu confronts him directly, saying he’s changed beyond recognition. Arshi lashes out, accusing them of wanting to enslave Aniruddh. Bablu refuses to argue further and walks away. Anjana follows. Arshi then warns Aniruddh that even if Jhanak proves he’s her father, she will never be allowed to live in Kolkata.
Precap: Mishti apologizes to Jhanak and offers her a drink. Unaware it’s spiked, Jhanak gets intoxicated and blurts out that Rishi is her husband, while a student secretly records the entire scene.
