The episode opens with Jhanak weakly murmuring Rishi’s name in her fever. Parashar, seeing her condition, tells Mangal to head to Kolkata immediately and inform Rishi about how critical she is. He insists Jhanak needs proper medical treatment. When Prakash says the village doctor isn’t available, Parashar firmly decides they must take her to the hospital.
Meanwhile, in Kolkata, Rishi brings Aditi home. The women of the house greet her warmly — Tanushri says she was deeply worried. Rishi explains Aditi is still unwell, and Tanushri assures him she understands. Aditi requests they avoid discussing “that topic.” Soon, Abhimanyu and Dadabhai arrive, asking if she has rejoined college. Aditi says she’ll return tomorrow and checks on everyone’s well-being. Payal notes that the whole family was concerned for her.
Indumati says they won’t feel at peace until Aditi becomes their daughter-in-law. Tanushri explains they planned to speak to Aditi first, then to her parents. Curious, Aditi asks what the discussion is about. Tanushri reveals they want her to marry soon — even a simple wedding would do — and that they’ll support whatever she decides. Abhimanyu suggests keeping the reception small. But Aditi makes it clear she’s not thinking about marriage at all.
Rishi admits his family had hoped she would agree. Aditi replies that she once had hope too, but nothing worked out. She asks them not to contact her family about marriage until she’s ready. Indumati says she must have realized Rishi wasn’t at fault. Aditi says choosing not to think about marriage right now isn’t wrong. Dadabhai supports her decision, while Aditi adds that even the mention of marriage frightens her. She pleads with them not to bring it up for a while.
Rishi agrees and asks Surjeet for a counsellor’s number. Aditi insists she can go alone, but Rishi says she’s his responsibility. She pushes back, saying she needs to handle herself and that Rishi has his family to lean on — unlike her. Surjeet suggests she consider Rishi’s pain too, but Aditi says no one can truly understand hers. Tanushri comforts her, saying everything will work out.
Back in the village, Sakhi urges Nutan to stop crying and focus on the pooja, but Nutan says she can’t be calm while Jhanak is in such a state. She prays fervently for her daughter’s recovery.
Parashar notices Jhanak’s breathing becoming laboured. He alerts Nutan and tells Prakash they must rush her to the hospital before it’s too late. He promises Nutan he won’t let anything happen to Jhanak. But suddenly, Jhanak loses consciousness, and Nutan screams her name in shock.
Precap: Dadabhai meets Parashar at the hospital. Elsewhere, Arshi asks Aniruddh if seeing Phool made him think about Jhanak.
