The Episode starts with Dadabhai asking if Jhanak has eaten anything. Indumati tells him that Jhanak keeps crying and refuses food. Tanushri worries that Kaju and Badam are visiting Jhanak too often to console her, which could affect their studies. Indumati suggests that since Jhanak’s mother is no more, they should send her to her village, preferably after the Ganga snan. Dadabhai expresses concern, saying Jhanak is in shock, while Tanushri remarks that he is being overly emotional for the girl.
Putul arrives and informs everyone that Jhanak wants to go to her village but also mentions that she has a slight fever. Tanushri decides to let Jhanak stay for a few more days. Indumati insists they arrange a private car for her and urges them to focus on fixing Aditi and Rishi’s marriage. Tanushri agrees, saying that Rishi and Aditi will not find peace if Jhanak stays. Dadabhai voices his frustration, saying that while they worry about the couple, they ignore Jhanak’s pain. He reminds them that Rishi has taken responsibility for Jhanak and should decide when she should leave. Tanushri dismisses his concern, claiming Jhanak is just crying and not contributing to any work.
Aniruddh arrives at the house and is welcomed by Rishi’s family. Tanushri informs him that Aditi has agreed to marry and that the wedding should happen soon. Aniruddh agrees. Indumati curiously asks why he brought so many sweets and fruits, to which Aniruddh responds that they are for Jhanak. Tanushri instructs Putul to bring Jhanak. Aniruddh suggests letting her rest, while Putul goes to bring her. He also asks if Jhanak will be sent to her village, and Tanushri replies that it will happen in a few days.
When Jhanak arrives, Aniruddh recalls a letter from Nutan about Jhanak and wonders whether she is truly his daughter or if Nutan lied. He expresses sorrow over Nutan’s death and gently asks Jhanak about her mother’s name, which she confirms is Nutan. He also asks about her father, but Jhanak says she doesn’t know and claims she has forgotten the name of the one who abandoned her and her mother. She blames her father for Nutan’s suffering and promises that one day she will confront him about the pain he caused her mother.
Later, Anjana checks on Phool’s condition, and Bablu reminds her that Phool’s father abandoned her and her mother. Anjana expresses disbelief that someone could leave their family in such a way.
