The Episode starts with Hemu pushing Nutan. She screams, and Parasar rushes in. Hemu warns him to stay out of it, but Parasar loses his temper and hits him for laying hands on Nutan. Hemu runs away. Nutan tells Parasar she slapped Hemu first. When he asks why, she says there’s no point telling him—he can’t help. She says she’ll protect herself and other village women because Parasar hasn’t. Parasar admits his failure in ensuring their safety and apologizes. He promises to always stand by Nutan now. Nutan says women can’t live in fear forever and need to learn to protect themselves. She wants to teach them that, and Parasar supports her.

Lalon tells Appu he may be poor but won’t give up. Appu begs him not to waste money on her treatment and says she’ll talk to Anirudh too. Lalon insists

he’ll handle everything. Appu asks if they can be together. Lalon asks why she’s doubting him, and she says she’s just scared. They hug. She wipes his tears as he tells her he can’t live without her. Appu agrees to go to the hospital but says if treatment isn’t possible, he should bring her back home. Lalon promises to stay by her side. She feels sleepy and asks him to sing for her. He sings, and she drifts off.

At the Bose house, Mrinalini sees Mimi looking upset. Mimi says she wants a job. Mrinalini reminds her she’s supposed to marry Anirban, but Mimi says nothing is certain. Choton asks if she can study like Rumi. Anjana asks if she’s spoken to Anirban. Mimi says she wants to be self-reliant and asks Mrinalini about an institute. Mrinalini says goodness matters more than education and praises Mimi’s character. When she asks what Mimi wants to pursue, Mimi says she wants to become an IAS officer and will work hard, even if that means not getting married now. If Anirban can’t wait, she’s okay with that.

Mrinalini says real love doesn’t come with conditions. Mimi says Anirban won’t go against his family and that she wants to prepare for exams without asking money from her parents or Anirudh. Anjana says Shubh and Tanuja still think the marriage will happen. Mimi says it won’t.

Mrinalini checks on Choton’s results. He’s unsure he’ll pass, but she reassures him. Mimi also encourages him. The next day, Nutan trains village women in a new skill. Bua says it’s easier than field work. Nutan adds it pays better and helps them care for their kids. She convinces Kanka to join. Rani jokes about Kanka agreeing. Nutan begins teaching her. Parasar beats up Hemu again. Sethji asks him to stop, but Parasar refuses, saying he saw what Hemu did. Arshi tells Anirudh she can’t handle the pain anymore. He says she got everything she wanted—except him. That, he adds, won’t ever happen. Veer tells Kanka that Parasar thrashed Hemu. Kanka asks why, and Nutan looks shocked.
