The Episode starts with Parashar informing Rishi about Nutan’s death. He tells him that he has already performed the last rites and couldn’t bring himself to tell Jhanak. He requests Rishi to share the truth with her at the right time and to take care of her, because Jhanak now has no one left except them. Rishi assures him and ends the call. Breaking the news to his family, Rishi reveals Nutan’s death. Dadabhai sighs that Jhanak is completely alone now, but Rishi reminds them that her biological father is still alive.

The next day, Putul supports Jhanak as she tries to walk. Jhanak insists she is fine, but Dadabhai tells her to rest instead of straining herself. She replies that she needs to prepare for her exam. Rishi asks Putul to take her to her room. Tanushri remarks that this is the last time they will take Jhanak’s responsibility. Jhanak shares that she had wanted to go straight to Simulboni from the hospital, but Rishi brought her there instead. She feels restless, missing Nutan, and even tells Dadabhai about a dream she had.

At that moment, Aditi arrives. Jhanak tells her she was planning to go to Simulboni. Aditi bluntly warns her not to cross her limits. She refuses to talk to Jhanak and scolds Rishi for focusing on everything else except his work. Rishi reminds her that he caused Jhanak’s accident and therefore must take responsibility.

Aditi presses him to think about her and their relationship, questioning whether he even cares for her anymore. Rishi asks how she could doubt him, given the crisis they are facing. Tanushri tries to calm things down, saying they will talk once Jhanak goes to Simulboni.

Abhimanyu then questions why Jhanak is still there when there’s an emergency in Simulboni. Jhanak immediately asks what has happened. Aditi wonders why nobody has told her the truth yet. Rishi explains that she was in the hospital and not fit to travel. Aditi insists that Jhanak deserves to know. Even Tanushri agrees. Jhanak demands answers, saying she must go to Simulboni. Aditi taunts that she should have gone there directly from the hospital. Jhanak replies that it was Rishi who brought her here against her wish, and accuses Aditi of not being able to understand her pain because their worlds are so different.

Finally, Rishi gathers the courage to speak. He asks Jhanak to be strong. But Aditi interrupts, blurting out the truth — Nutan has passed away. Jhanak is stunned into silence, unable to process it. Aditi cruelly adds that Nutan died the previous day. Heartbroken, Jhanak breaks down in tears.

Precap: Jhanak asks Rishi if what Aditi said is true. Rishi painfully confirms that Nutan has indeed passed away while she was undergoing treatment. Jhanak cries that she didn’t even get a final chance to see her mother’s face. She hugs Putul.
