The Episode starts with Parashar gently urging Jhanak to marry Anirudh and go back to the city with him. Jhanak, stunned, questions how he can make such a big decision about her life. Parashar calmly tells her that as a friend, he has every right. He admits that Jhanak never loved him, and it’s time she follows her heart. He believes Anirudh will take better care of her, and with that thought, he leaves her in Anirudh’s hands.
Anirudh, overwhelmed, promises Jhanak a future full of love and peace. He assures her that she needn’t worry about Arshi—he’s ready to give Arshi everything she deserves as alimony. But what he truly wants is only Jhanak. He breaks down, his love evident in his tears.
Elsewhere, Ambika gently encourages Ishani to appear for her exams privately, but Abhijeet disagrees, fearing it would crush her confidence. Ishani, heartbroken, asks why all this had to happen to her. Abhijeet assures her she’s not alone—he’ll always be there for her. Ambika, feeling guilty, explains her harsh reaction stemmed from concern for Aarav and Adrika. She apologizes, genuinely. Abhijeet, holding back tears, confesses that Ishani is the child he loves the most and promises to get her into a new college. Hugging her, he asks her not to cry anymore—her tears make him feel like a failed father. Ambika promises to cook Ishani’s favorite dishes once she’s home. For the first time in a while, Ishani looks a little more at peace. The three share a warm, emotional hug.
Meanwhile, back at Lalon’s home, grief still hangs in the air. Anjana asks Kajol if she’s okay, and though Kajol says yes, Bablu senses her pain. Lalon, still drowning in sorrow, says he doesn’t wish to live anymore. Anuradha, upset, scolds him and says if he keeps talking like this, he might as well leave like Apu did. Bablu then opens up—he wants to fulfill Apu’s last wish. Lalon looks confused. Bablu reminds him: Apu wanted Lalon to become a singer, and more shockingly, she also wanted Lalon to marry Kajol.
Lalon and Kajol are both taken aback. Kajol begs Bablu not to speak like that, but Bablu insists. He asks if they’re both going to ignore Apu’s dying wish. Lalon says it’s impossible. Bablu says Apu knew Lalon would crumble after her death, and she wanted Kajol by his side to help him move on. Anuradha, too, supports the idea. But Anjana resists—she can’t bear to see anyone else in Apu’s place. Kajol agrees, saying she can never replace Apu. Bablu argues that Kajol already is part of the family—she’s like his own daughter. He urges Lalon to give Kajol a chance, warning that he won’t speak to him again if he refuses to move on. Lalon insists he’s not being disrespectful to Apu’s memory. Bablu tells Kajol not to come to the house again if this proposal isn’t accepted.
The next morning, Arshi vents to her family, saying Anirudh has gone back to Jhanak. Shubhankar tells her to talk things out with Anirudh. Anjana reminds everyone this is a husband-wife matter and they shouldn’t interfere. Bablu chimes in, saying Arshi should care about Jhanak, who is her sister. Shubhankar, weighed down by Tanuja’s condition, tells Arshi to stop making an issue out of everything—Anirudh has always done what she asked. Choton backs him up, pointing out that Anirudh is not a child and she should let things be. When Arshi gets angry, Choton bluntly says Anirudh clearly isn’t emotionally connected to her—this marriage won’t work out.
Meanwhile, Parashar brings Jhanak back to his village. He says Bua and Kanka will face consequences for what they did. Jhanak, with her usual kindness, says punishment isn’t necessary and subtly asks about Anirudh. Parashar tells her Anirudh has gone home to arrange everything. Bua and Kanka, bitter as ever, gossip behind closed doors. Bua accuses Jhanak of casting a spell on Parashar and wonders if Anirudh is the real father of Jhanak’s unborn child. Kanka smugly agrees—she’s sure Parashar can’t be the father. As Jhanak arrives, Rani and Phool welcome her warmly. Parashar stops Bua and Kanka at the door and tells them they don’t deserve to see Jhanak. He warns them to confess their lies to the Sarpanch and apologize.
