The Episode starts with Jhanak speaking firmly to Rishi, telling him that she doesn’t want him to take responsibility for her anymore. She declares that she will soon remove his name from the guardian column in her college records. Shocked, Rishi asks what mistake he has made. Jhanak replies that he should have informed Aditi and his family about his meetings with her. She says he’s aware that what he’s doing is wrong, and that’s why he chose to hide the truth. Jhanak explains that she doesn’t want to be the reason for conflict between Rishi and Aditi, then apologizes for refusing the food he had brought for her.
Elsewhere, Aditi and her family discuss ways to make sure Jhanak doesn’t continue her studies in Kolkata. Indumati reminds Aditi that Jhanak has already secured admission, but Tanushri points out that Jhanak isn’t local and will surely apply for a hostel room. She adds that if Jhanak doesn’t get a room, she might play the sympathy card and try to move in with them. Aditi smugly says that Aniruddh has already handled everything. Indumati urges Aditi to make sure Jhanak never settles in Kolkata. Tanushri suggests that Jhanak might come back someday to claim her rights over Rishi, while Neelu agrees that Jhanak needs to be “taught a lesson.”
Just then, Rishi walks in and overhears their conversation. Aditi tells Indumati that her parents have already met Jhanak’s principal, and now Jhanak will not be allotted a hostel room. Rishi is stunned. Neelu remarks that Jhanak might come to their home if she has nowhere else to stay, to which Aditi reacts angrily, vowing to leave if that happens. She insists that she isn’t against Jhanak’s education but won’t allow her to study in Kolkata. She smugly adds that Aniruddh has arranged for Jhanak to transfer to a nearby college in Simulboni. Rishi silently fumes, realizing that Aditi has crossed a line. He decides he won’t let the principal misuse his power to ruin Jhanak’s future.
When Neelu notices Rishi standing there, she awkwardly asks when he arrived. Rishi curtly tells her to continue their “ladies’ talk.” Aditi grows uneasy, wondering if he overheard everything. As Tanushri asks him to eat dinner, he coldly refuses and walks away, thinking to himself that this fight is now his too—not just Jhanak’s.
The next morning in Simulboni, Jhanak anxiously tells Parashar she hasn’t received a call from her college yet. He promises to accompany her since he’s feeling better. Sakhi asks what she’ll do if she doesn’t get a hostel room. Dhamu says she can’t stay at Rishi’s house either. Parashar blames Aniruddh, but Jhanak stops him, saying Aniruddh doesn’t have the courage to face the truth. Sakhi adds that one day, when Jhanak becomes a doctor, even Aniruddh will have to acknowledge her.
Rishi calls Jhanak and informs her that the principal, influenced by Aniruddh and Arshi, has denied her hostel room. He urges her to stand up against the injustice, telling her he’s already contacted the media. Shocked, Jhanak asks why he’s helping her go against Aditi. Rishi replies that he would’ve done the same for anyone—he’s just standing for what’s right.
After the call, Jhanak tells Parashar everything. He assures her that she will win and that everyone’s true face will soon be exposed. Jhanak decides to face the situation head-on, vowing to meet the principal first. She knows she’s earned her place through hard work and won’t let anyone take it away.
Precap: Jhanak leads a student protest demanding justice. Watching the news, the minister grows curious about her determination and decides to meet Jhanak personally.
