The Episode starts with Dadabhai expressing that Aditi got to know the truth just moments before the wedding, and he understands her decision to call it off. Indumati, however, shifts some of the blame to Jhanak. She says that Jhanak, like Rishi, should have told them the truth. She recalls how Jhanak always turned quiet or upset whenever there was a discussion about Rishi and Aditi’s marriage. Payal agrees, adding that Jhanak even cried once during such a talk. She believes it’s because Jhanak had accepted Rishi as her husband, which is why it affected her so deeply.
Rishi gets irritated and asks everyone to stop bringing it up. He insists that he is the one suffering the most because his marriage with Aditi has been ruined. Dadabhai then confronts Rishi and says he has committed a sin by hiding
Dadabhai responds sternly, saying that Rishi should’ve come clean the moment he brought Jhanak home. He adds that had the family known everything earlier, they might have accepted Jhanak and avoided this disaster. Rishi is stunned to hear that. Indumati quickly objects to Dadabhai’s idea of accepting Jhanak as a daughter-in-law. Abhimanyu also jumps in, saying that the marriage between Rishi and Jhanak was forced, and it cannot be accepted as legitimate. Dadabhai doesn’t back down and says Rishi should have at least told Aditi the truth instead of hiding it.
Tanushri tries to calm things down. She says that while Aditi is hurt right now, they can try to convince her later. She suggests they send Jhanak back to the village and get the marriage annulled officially. Surjeet proposes speaking to the village elders for the annulment. Putul asks about Jhanak’s whereabouts, and Dadabhai says they must ensure her safety—if anything happens to her, they’ll have to answer the village.
Rishi declares that he no longer cares about Jhanak and that she’s not his responsibility anymore. Neelu suggests settling the matter by paying Jhanak some money. Putul questions why everyone is blaming Jhanak. Neelu snaps back, accusing Putul of siding against the family.
Tanushri then openly states she wants Jhanak out of Rishi’s life. Putul defends Jhanak, reminding everyone that she was also forced into this marriage. She emphasizes that Aditi is angry not because of Jhanak, but because Rishi didn’t tell her the truth. She even asks why Jhanak is being blamed when it was someone else who sent the photos to Aditi. Neelu’s husband reveals that Jhanak told Anirudh she would be leaving for the village the next day. He warns that even if she leaves, the matter won’t be resolved easily.
Rishi, determined to cut ties, says he only cares about his family and Aditi. Dadabhai reminds him that money won’t be enough—only Jhanak can end the marriage. He suggests Rishi take care of Jhanak’s education. Rishi refuses, saying he’ll win Aditi back instead. He even says he doesn’t want to see Jhanak’s face again and blames her for ruining his life.
Meanwhile, Jhanak is heartbroken and remembers Rishi’s harsh words about their marriage being meaningless. She makes up her mind to return to her village.
