The Episode starts with Dadabhai openly stating that it seems they don’t want Jhanak to give any statement in Rishi’s favor. Indumati agrees, confirming his suspicion. She reminds Aditi that since Rishi went to Simulboni, villagers can no longer file kidnapping or murder charges against him. Tanushri then advises Aditi not to delay the marriage. She argues that if Aditi marries Rishi quickly, she will be able to stand by his side and face all challenges together. Once married, no one will be able to come between them.
But Aditi’s mind is restless. She admits she is disappointed with Rishi’s decision to visit Simulboni. She claims she never wanted a “weak” Rishi, and this version of him is difficult for her to understand or accept.
Dadabhai then turns the mirror on Aditi. He tells her that until now she has only seen Rishi’s tough, commanding side, but what is emerging is his softer, more human side—even new to him. He also points out a change in Aditi herself, saying he sees a difference between her old self and the woman she has become now. Aditi is unsettled, asking what he means. Dadabhai, without explaining further, goes inside. Tanushri comforts Aditi, saying Dadabhai is reacting this way only out of concern for Jhanak, whom they will never accept. But Aditi questions why she must suffer in all this. She firmly decides she needs to speak to Rishi before making a final decision about their marriage.
The next day, Rishi visits Jhanak in her hospital room. Putul asks him about Jhanak’s mother. As Jhanak wakes up, she too anxiously asks about Nutan. Rishi tells her Nutan is unwell with a fever and can’t come. Worried, Jhanak insists she will go back to Simulboni once discharged so her mother doesn’t need to travel. Putul gently reminds her that she must rest and eat properly.
But Jhanak feels restless. She says she has no proper place to stay and would recover faster with her mother’s homemade food. Rishi then drops a bombshell—he declares that she will stay in his house. When Jhanak asks why, he reveals that he promised Nutan he would take care of her and help her complete her studies. Jhanak immediately refuses, but Rishi insists his decision is final. Shocked, Jhanak questions what has changed, reminding him that he once despised even her face and her name. Rishi grows stern and tells her if she doesn’t agree, he will take her forcefully.
Just then, Aniruddh and Aditi walk in. Aditi directly asks why Rishi has suddenly developed an interest in Jhanak, accusing him of creating unnecessary problems. Rishi explains that Jhanak’s accident happened because of him, and it is his duty to support her. Aditi doesn’t understand his sudden attachment. Rishi replies that Aniruddh, at least, would understand him—though Aniruddh looks confused.
Aditi tells Jhanak to leave for Simulboni after discharge to avoid further drama. Jhanak agrees, saying Rishi belongs to Aditi, so she will step away. But Rishi refuses to back down. He insists Jhanak will stay in his house and continue her education. Aniruddh interjects, saying Rishi cannot make such a big decision alone. Rishi reminds him that Aniruddh himself used to take such decisions in the past.
Aditi accuses Rishi of playing with her feelings. But Rishi stands his ground, declaring that he owes his life to Jhanak. He says he survived Simulboni because of her, regained his honor as an officer because of her, and even Dadabhai is alive today because of her. Jhanak is stunned to hear this. Aditi, however, tells Rishi that if this is how he will be, then she cannot marry him.
Precap: Aniruddh reads Nutan’s letter and discovers the truth—Jhanak is his daughter. He urges Rishi not to reveal it to anyone.
