The Episode starts with Sakhi expressing her happiness that Jhanak finally got her college admission. Jhanak smiles and says she’ll now go back to Simulboni. Just then, Rishi calls her. She hesitates to pick up, thinking of everything that happened earlier. Sakhi insists that she should answer since Rishi helped her get this far. Dhamu agrees, saying Rishi deserves at least that much respect.

Jhanak finally takes the call. She tells Rishi that her admission is done. Rishi explains he couldn’t step out because Aditi was unwell. Jhanak thanks him sincerely for signing her admission form. She says classes will start in two days and she has already applied for hostel accommodation, so she plans to visit Simulboni till then.

Rishi tells her not to worry and offers to arrange a flat for her

to stay in for those two days. Jhanak initially refuses but then agrees, thanking him again. Rishi gently asks her not to thank him and apologizes for how she was treated at home. Jhanak calmly says she understands why his family was angry. Rishi promises that one day everyone will respect her. He asks her to call him if she needs anything and ends the call.

Meanwhile, at home, Payal confronts Surjeet, accusing him of avoiding her calls. Surjeet insists she’s overthinking. He says he knows she’s upset because he’s been busy, but nothing is wrong. Payal doesn’t buy it. She says she knows Rishi signed Jhanak’s form as her local guardian. Surjeet looks shocked and questions why Rishi is interfering when he has a wife like Aditi. He even wonders how Jhanak managed to clear her medical test so easily.

Dadabhai overhears their conversation and asks why they think Jhanak can’t clear an exam on her own. Surjeet warns that Jhanak will soon return to claim her rights in the house. Dadabhai firmly disagrees. He says Jhanak isn’t like that—she’s self-righteous and won’t misuse anyone’s kindness. Aditi arrives and questions how Dadabhai can be so sure. Dadabhai replies that he knows Jhanak’s nature well, and he’s proud that Rishi took responsibility when her own father didn’t.

Aditi, hurt, says no one will understand her side of the story. Payal consoles her and asks her to rest. Dadabhai says he doesn’t want to argue and repeats that Jhanak is like a diamond—pure, but misunderstood.

At the college, Aniruddh and Arshi meet the principal. The principal welcomes them warmly and mentions that Jhanak’s admission is already confirmed. He assures them she’ll soon be allotted a hostel room. But Arshi immediately objects. She says they don’t want Jhanak to study in Kolkata. Aniruddh explains that his family has suffered enough because of her. Arshi elaborates on the “problems” caused by Jhanak, painting a bitter picture. The principal listens politely as Aniruddh requests him not to prioritize Jhanak’s hostel allotment. The principal reluctantly agrees to speak to the management. Aniruddh and Arshi thank him and walk out, looking satisfied with their plan.

Elsewhere, Jhanak talks to Sakhi, saying it would be such a relief if she could get a hostel room quickly. A man standing nearby overhears and approaches them, pretending to help. He claims he can get them a hostel room easily if they pay ₹10,000. Sakhi says they only have ₹4,000. The man smiles slyly and says he’ll still “help” and takes the money, asking them to wait.

Krishna happens to be around and notices the scene. He immediately realizes the man is a fraud. He steps in, confronts the man, and snatches the money back. Khushi witnesses the argument and assumes Krishna is the one trying to cheat the girls. She rushes over and scolds him. Jhanak arrives, hearing the commotion, and asks Khushi if Krishna was misbehaving. Krishna quickly clarifies that he was saving them from a scam.

Khushi doesn’t believe him and calls him a fraud again. Krishna gets frustrated, saying his biggest life problem is Khushi. She fires back, saying hers is him. Their bickering continues until Krishna finally returns the ₹4,000 to Jhanak.

Jhanak answers Rishi’s video call at that moment. She tells him everything that happened and assures him she’s fine. Rishi looks worried but calms down after seeing she’s safe. After the call, Khushi warns Jhanak not to trust Krishna. Jhanak defends him, saying he might be rough in words but his intentions seem right. She advises both of them to stop fighting and focus on their own lives.

The episode ends with Jhanak walking away, unaware that Arshi and Aniruddh have already started plotting to destroy her dream.

Precap: Jhanak tells Rishi he doesn’t need to take responsibility for her. She adds that he probably hasn’t told his family about meeting her again.
