The Episode starts with Rishi disconnecting Jhanak’s call, saying he is busy at home. He decides to call her later once things calm down. At the college, Dhamu asks Jhanak about Rishi’s reply. She tells him he’s busy, probably with Aditi. Sakhi insists they should visit Rishi’s house since the matter is urgent. Jhanak hesitates but eventually agrees when Dhamu reminds her this is about her dream. The trio leaves for Rishi’s place, hoping Dadabhai might help too.
Back at home, Tanushri worries Jhanak might trouble Rishi for the local guardian signature. Neelu asks her to relax. Arshi soon arrives and says she wants to take Aditi with her. Indumati assures her that Aditi is being taken care of — Surjeet is monitoring her health and Rishi has taken leave to stay home.
Aniruddh checks on Aditi. She says she’s feeling a little better. Rishi feeds her food, trying to lighten the tense atmosphere. But Arshi can’t hold back — she taunts Rishi, saying it’s difficult to trust him anymore. Aditi interrupts, saying she doesn’t want to discuss the topic. Arshi still continues, questioning Rishi’s reliability. Rishi calmly asks her to stop, but she refuses.
As they sit together, Rishi asks Indumati about Dadabhai. She says he’s gone to collect his pension with Putul. Arshi then casually digs into their family matters — asking about Putul’s divorce and Ridhiman. Indumati explains that Ridhiman left for abroad after his love story with Saanjh failed. Arshi comments that Ridhiman must have remarried abroad, but Indumati says she’s heard he’s still single. Rishi, losing patience, asks Arshi whether she came to see Aditi or gossip.
Suddenly, the doorbell rings. Tanushri opens the door — and everyone is stunned to see Jhanak standing there with Sakhi and Dhamu. Jhanak says she needs Dadabhai’s signature as her local guardian for her college admission, and today is the last day. She explains she knows no one else in Kolkata.
Aniruddh sarcastically asks who will sign as her guardian. Jhanak boldly replies that it’s technically his responsibility — though she doesn’t expect anything from him. Aditi angrily asks her to shut up. Sakhi defends Jhanak, reminding them Rishi married her and she’s only asking for help to continue her studies. She accuses Aniruddh of betraying Jhanak. Dhamu adds that everyone knows the truth — that Jhanak is Aniruddh’s daughter and Aditi lived with Nutan in Simulboni for five years.
Indumati loses her patience and orders them to leave. Tanushri offers Jhanak money instead, saying they don’t want any drama. Jhanak refuses the money, saying she came for the signature, not charity. Aditi lashes out, calling Jhanak selfish and opportunistic. She says no one will take responsibility for her.
Jhanak, hurt but firm, says she’s never harmed Aditi’s life and that she kept her silence for her sake. Rishi takes the admission form from her. Aditi warns him not to sign it. Rishi tells her this is about Jhanak’s future, not their personal issues. He reminds Aditi that she once said she’d help Jhanak. Aditi retorts that help and responsibility are not the same.
Jhanak, with tears in her eyes, says she had no other option left — she came here because she trusted them as her last hope. Ignoring the objections, Rishi signs the form. He hands it back to Jhanak and softly says, “All the best.”
Jhanak thanks him sincerely and leaves with Sakhi and Dhamu. The house falls silent, tension hanging in the air.
Precap: Jhanak tells Rishi she’s returning to Simulboni as her admission is complete. Meanwhile, Aniruddh and Arshi visit the college principal, asking him to cancel Jhanak’s admission.
