Jhanak clarifies that she never accepted the marriage and has no intention of living with Rishi, reminding everyone that he was engaged to Aditi before. Parashar expresses his doubts, claiming Rishi and his family are betraying her, but Jhanak insists he is wrong and suggests they all return home.

Dadabhai supports Jhanak, explaining that she and Rishi decided not to live together and, as adults, no one can interfere with their choice. He tells Aniruddh that it was Jhanak’s honesty, not Rishi’s influence, that saved his job. He urges Jhanak to focus on preparing for the NEET exam, emphasizing that her future is brighter in Kolkata rather than Simulboni. Putul praises Jhanak’s intelligence and predicts she will secure a scholarship, requesting Parashar to allow her to stay. Parashar, however, remains unconvinced.

Rishi questions Jhanak about the papers she signed, and she confirms she did so willingly. Aniruddh admits he arranged them at her request, but Rishi insists he never signed anything. Parashar struggles to understand Rishi’s conflicting behavior: he doesn’t fully accept Jhanak yet wants to take responsibility for her. Mangal points out that Rishi never treated Jhanak as his wife, and Jhanak reciprocates, saying she never considered him her husband either. Dadabhai reassures Parashar that once Jhanak achieves her dreams, she can return to Simulboni.

The conversation turns to Aniruddh, who is accused by Putul of taking one daughter’s happiness for another. Jhanak declares she does not consider him her father, instead honoring Parashar as her true father. Tensions rise as Parashar confronts Aniruddh, but Rishi and Dadabhai intervene. Jhanak calms Parashar, vowing to focus on her studies and secure a college seat.

Later, Rishi speaks with Aditi in the car, asking her not to misunderstand him. Aditi admits she understands his actions but regrets marrying him. She questions why he did not accept his marriage to Jhanak if he cares so much, noting that he behaves as though Jhanak is still his wife. Rishi explains he only wants what is best for Jhanak and asks for her trust. Aditi struggles to comprehend his motives, but he assures her that Jhanak’s welfare is his priority.

Jhanak questions Dadabhai’s support, and he encourages her to trust him and fight for herself. Putul assures Jhanak that she will receive respect and love for her courage.
