The Episode starts with Rishi asking Aditi not to drag Jhanak between them. He gently tells her to rest. Aditi, still weak, insists she’s fine and asks about their trip. Rishi explains that he couldn’t get leave from work and tells her to confirm it with DG if she wants. She sighs, realizing their trip is cancelled. Rishi tells her to recover first, promising to reapply for leave later. As she complains of a headache, he gives her a comforting head massage.
Tanushri arrives with a bowl of soup and urges Aditi to have it. Aditi refuses, but Tanushri insists, saying she’ll feel better. Neelu also joins them and tells Rishi to take leave to look after Aditi. Rishi agrees and says he’ll speak to DG. After tucking Aditi into bed, his thoughts drift to Jhanak. He worries about her struggling alone for admission and decides to let her stay in his friend Ashish’s flat until she gets hostel accommodation.
At Arshi’s house, tensions flare. Aniruddh defends himself as Arshi blames him for Rishi’s growing involvement with Jhanak. Bablu asks why Arshi can’t just accept Jhanak, while Anjana remarks that Aditi’s problems would vanish if Arshi did so. Arshi fumes, calling their words nonsense. Aniruddh snaps that Jhanak isn’t his daughter and he’ll never give her his name.
Arshi lashes out at Bablu and Anjana for telling Aditi the truth about Nutan. Anjana explains the truth would’ve surfaced anyway. Arshi fumes that Rishi should focus on his wife, not Jhanak, and insists that Jhanak must not be allowed to live in Kolkata. Bablu suggests they let Jhanak stay, but Aniruddh refuses angrily and leaves, battling guilt over Nutan deep inside.
The next morning at college, Dhamu asks Jhanak about her hostel. She says she’ll get a room in a few days. Sakhi tells her to submit her documents quickly. Dhamu teasingly asks if Rishi called. Jhanak brushes it off, saying Rishi has done enough and has a wife to care for. She walks off to finish the admission formalities.
Mishti spots Jhanak and taunts her about the admission money. When Jhanak doesn’t respond, Mishti guesses Rishi helped her again. At the counter, Jhanak fills out her form, but the admission officer demands a local guardian’s name. Mishti jumps in, loudly telling everyone that Jhanak used to work at her house and now relies on Rishi for help. Jhanak looks stunned as Mishti smugly warns her not to contact Dadabhai again.
Meanwhile, at home, Aditi’s health worsens. Surjeet tells Rishi to stay by her side and update him regularly. Tanushri reassures Aditi that Rishi will be with her tonight and asks the cook to prepare eggs for her.
As Surjeet rushes to the hospital, Neelu reminds him to support Mishti’s admission too, but he’s short on time. Tanushri calls Mishti to check on her, and Mishti casually mentions seeing Jhanak in college. Tanushri warns her to stay away from Jhanak, but Mishti gleefully reveals the ongoing local guardian issue.
Later, Jhanak tells Sakhi and Dhamu about the same problem. Sakhi advises her to call Rishi. Reluctantly, Jhanak phones him and says she needs to discuss something urgent. Rishi, tending to Aditi, tells her he can’t talk now and ends the call.
Precap: Rishi later calls Jhanak to ask about her admission. Jhanak says the process is complete. Meanwhile, Aniruddh and Arshi meet the principal, determined to cancel Jhanak’s admission.
